Our Story

Mothers dreamed of home but stayed,
carrying silent weight nobody sees but we feel.
They gave everything for us, even when they had nothing left.

Fathers held memories alive,
built lives in places they barely knew,
kept hope alive for us,
a future we would have, but they lost a part of themselves.

In the quiet, we hear their longing,
the sun warming the earth that never forgets,
mothers raising their hands in dua,
children’s laughter echoing in streets we once knew.

Mothers made dua for their children — «Illaa’i ha siiyo carruurteyda CIMRI dheer oo barakeysan»

which means, «May my children live a long and blessed life.»

Their sacrifice is woven into us,
an unspoken strength that carries us forward.

Cimri is the love for our dhaqaan.
On 13.10.25, we share our story with the world.
