What a result!

After spending some time searching with the Quest, I located a hard spot at the bottom of a plateau in the deeper water that looked absolutely spot on. The ability to map and identify those subtle features made all the difference, giving me the confidence to commit to the area.

I introduced around two hopper loads of freebies over the spot and sat it out. The plan came together perfectly when this incredible 46lb 2oz mirror slipped up.

The Quest continues to prove its worth, not just for baiting accurately, but for finding those hidden features that can easily be missed. Finding that hard spot amongst the surrounding deeper water was the key to this capture.

QUEST sonar rollback is now available ✅

After carefully reviewing your feedback, we've decided to roll back the sonar resolution upgrade introduced in the April update. QUEST sonar will now return to the behavior and visual presentation that users knew and trusted before. 🫡

This rollback only affects the sonar resolution upgrade. The following features introduced in recent updates remain available for all QUEST owners:

✅ Digital Anchoring (Lock Position)
✅ Programmable Controller Buttons
✅ Satellite Maps

How to Update 📲

• Update the Fish Deeper app to version 2.4.2 from the App Store or Google Play. 🐟⚙️
• Connect your Deeper QUEST to the Fish Deeper app while the boat is dry and out of the water.
• The firmware update will start automatically. 🚣‍♂️

The enhanced sonar resolution feature is not being discontinued. We'll continue refining it based on your feedback and will reintroduce it in a future release once it delivers the experience QUEST users expect.

First trip out with the new Quest bait boat (birthday present!) and I couldn’t wait to put it to work.

I arrived Thursday morning, just after the fish had spawned the previous weekend. Using the Quest’s area scan, I quickly found 2-3 decent spots amongst the w**d and got them saved..

Come Sunday morning, I was rewarded with this stunning 30.4lb warrior! 🎣💪

Absolutely buzzing with the result and really impressed with how the Quest helped me locate and fish productive areas. Happy days, and I can’t wait to get back out again!

🎣 Sandford Carp Pool delivered a real challenge… but the rewards made every minute worth it.

This small, tricky lake doesn’t give up its carp easily. Careful watercraft, patience, and finding the right spots were absolutely key. After putting in the work, I was lucky enough to land some stunning carp that made all the effort worthwhile.

A big part of my approach was using the Chirp+ 2 to map the lake, identify depth changes, and locate areas holding fish. On waters where every cast counts, having that extra information can make a huge difference and help build confidence in your swim choice.

These are the sessions that remind you why we love carp fishing the challenge, the learning, and ultimately the reward when everything comes together.

Just wrapped up an incredible 6-night session at S&R Fisheries with two of my mates, and what a trip it was! 🎣

Between the three of us, we landed 28 fish, and a huge part of that success came down to the Deeper Quest paired with the winch camera. Being able to quickly locate the clearer spots amongst the w**d gave us the confidence to place our rigs exactly where they needed to be.

What impressed me most was how naturally the Quest helped us understand the lake. Rather than fishing blind, we could build a clear picture of what was in front of us, identify productive areas, and make informed decisions throughout the session.

If you’re considering a bait boat setup, I genuinely can’t recommend the Deeper Quest enough. It’s become an essential part of my fishing, helping us spend less time searching and more time catching.

Fantastic venue, great company, and a session we’ll be talking about for a long time. 👌

The Quest has continued to perform exactly as intended, helping me stay productive and efficient on the water. On a recent session, it helped me locate a lovely hard gravel spot at 21 wraps, allowing me to present a heavily baited area with a Yellow Wafter.

The bait sat in for 26 hours, and the results spoke for themselves 🎣

🐟 5 fish landed
🏆 Lake record mirror at 38lb 10oz
💪 Every other fish over 20lb

Being able to quietly and accurately place rigs and bait exactly where I wanted made all the difference. Another fantastic session and more proof that the Quest is a valuable tool when it comes to finding spots, presenting effectively, and maximising your time on the bank.
