What if ONE hour could make every marketing decision easier?

This is exactly what we're exploring in the very first Worker Wing workshop for florists 👇

➡️ Attract More Customers Like Your Best Customers ⬅️
In this live 1-hour workshop, you'll explore who your best customers really are, what matters to them and how understanding them makes way for greater confidence in how you market your business.

As florists, you're pretty good at investing in your floristry skills.

But when was the last time you invested an hour in your marketing?

❌ Not posting on social.
❌ Not replying to enquiries.
❌ Not updating your website.

Actually stepping back and working ON your business.

This workshop is your chance to do exactly that.

Together, we'll explore what your best customers can teach you about your marketing and how that understanding can help you attract more people like them.

Expect:
👉 A fresh perspective on who you're trying to attract
👉 Practical exercises completed during the session
👉 New ways to generate content and marketing ideas
👉 Greater confidence in your marketing decisions
👉 A Special Bonus to download and continue exploring after the session

This isn't an hour listening to us either...

You'll be working on your own business throughout the session and leaving with ideas, notes and actions to take away.

➡️ Monday 6th July
➡️ 12pm
➡️ £25

And because it's part of The Worker Wing, it's just the beginning. A new series of bite-sized marketing CPD workshops designed specifically for florists.

This week, someone very kindly pointed out that Helen and I use a lot of mitigating language.

You know the sort... "we're just..."

Maybe it's a British thing. Maybe it's a female thing. Perhaps it's simply that neither of us wants to come across as bossy. But they weren't wrong 😅

It got us thinking about how often florists do the same thing when it comes to selling, tip-toeing around the point because they don't want to sound pushy.

So we wrote a blog about it.

🌸 How to Sell Without the Sales Ick

💫 Inside, we're talking about confidence, customer-first marketing and why making it easier for people to buy from you isn't salesy at all.

💫 PLUS, there's a free download with lots of plug-and-play copy for your socials, emails and conversations to steal.

Get it all here: https://www.wearequeenbee.com/blog/2026/6/9/a-guide-for-florists-who-want-to-sell-more-without-feeling-pushy

No "just" about it 😉

We wrote this guide for florist business owners who want to sell more with their marketing, without sounding pushy, awkward or giving themselves the sales ick.

For those moments when you've got a camera reel full of gorgeous bouquet photos but want to make a quick Reel!

We are using Canva Pro, but I believe it is also available on Canva's free plan - let me know if you can't see it! 👀

Quick note that there are usage limits on both the Free and Pro plan for using their AI tools so perhaps don't upload and animate all your photos at once 😂

If you want to create a Reel longer than the 5 seconds - perhaps you have a few photos of the same bouquet from different perspectives - you simply add more photos, click the 'image to video' button on each and download them as an MP4 file.

What do you think? Is it a 👍 or a 👎

📣 We've been working on something new for florists...

For a while now, we've been looking for a way to support florists who want to improve their marketing but aren't quite ready for a full course, don't have hours to spare, or simply fancy dipping into a specific topic.

So we're excited to introduce...

🐝 THE WORKER WING 🐝

A brand-new series of live online marketing workshops designed specifically for busy florists.

Think bite-sized marketing CPD.
➡️ One topic.
➡️ One hour.
➡️ Practical ideas.
➡️ Simple actions.

And hopefully a little more confidence when it comes to promoting your floristry business.

We'll be joined by special guests along the way, exploring different areas of marketing and helping you make clearer, more confident decisions that move your business forwards.

👍 If that sounds like something you'd love to be part of, give this post a thumbs up in the comments.

And while we're here...

Let's tell you about the very first session 👇

"Selling" - just the word itself can give us the ick. How about you?

You know you need to talk about your offers.
You know people need to know what you do.
You know your flowers are lovely.

But somehow, whether it's chatting with a customer face to face or writing an Instagram post, you can still feel like you're THAT guy saying, “I don't just sell flowers...I sell dreams.”
Hard pass.

So we wrote this guide for florist business owners who want to sell more with their marketing, without sounding pushy, awkward or like they’ve swallowed a tray of corporate bull 💩.

And because we know you’re not just after advice, we created a FREE swipe file too - plug-and-play lines to steal that will help you market your products and services more confidently, without the awks...

Includes:
• social media hooks that speak to your customer
• email nudges towards a sale
• blog to sales bridging copy
• customer Q&A moments.

If your marketing has been giving you a mild case of the ick, this should help 🙏

The trouble with asking a question is that there isn't always a one-size-fits-all answer 🙈

But answering these two questions, with total honesty, is a good first step to deciding how frequently you post on social or email your subscribers👇
1️⃣ How often your ideal customer wants to hear from you
2️⃣ How often you realistically have the capacity to show up

Of course, successfully marketing your floristry business goes way beyond just 'frequency', but when you feel happy with your decision, it helps to keep you showing up on a more consistent basis - and that's good for your business and your motivation!

The key is to focus on you and your business - not what everyone else is doing or you might find yourself in comparison gridlock.

If Question 1 left you totally stumped, and understanding your ideal customer feels like the missing piece of the puzzle, here's where you'll find some more details about Own Your Marketing 👇

After 30 years in marketing, this much we know... 🐝

✨ Marketing is 20% creativity and 80% work (which is a shame because the creative bit is definitely the best bit).

✨ Social media is a marketing channel, not a marketing strategy.

✨ Marketing is not a magic bullet. It takes commitment, consistency and a little patience.

✨ There will always be someone seemingly doing it better than you. Save yourself the torment and stop comparing.

✨ You're not selling a product. You're creating a feeling, solving a problem or helping make a memory.

✨ You do not (and should not) need to market to everyone. In fact, your sales will usually get stronger when you stop trying to.

✨ Niching is a superpower, not a limitation.

✨ Marketing evolves constantly. You will not keep up with everything, so don't try. (And definitely don't beat yourself up about it.)

✨ If your customer doesn't understand it, it doesn't matter how clever it is.

✨ Done is almost always better than perfect.

Some of these lessons we've learned the easy way. Some we've learned the hard way 😅

Which one resonates most with you?
