"Can you just make one small change?"

Sixteen emails later...
We've all been there.
The problem usually isn't the change.
It's everything that happens around it.

• Which version?
• Which file?
• Which size?
• Which printer?
• Which deadline?

That's why I prefer keeping the whole process under one roof.
• One contact.
• One conversation.
• One person responsible for getting it done.

Nobody wants another leaflet.
Until it's a good one.

A leaflet shouldn't try to say everything about your business.

It should make someone want to find out more.

Too much information, and it will get ignored.
• A clear message is easier to read.
• Simple isn't boring.
• Simple works.

What's the best leaflet you've ever received?

"It looks perfect on my screen."

Those are dangerous words when you're talking about printing.

What looks great on a monitor doesn't always translate to paper.
• Colours change.
• Images reveal their resolution.
• Small text can become difficult to read.
• The screen is different from print.

It's one of the reasons getting artwork checked before printing matters.

Here's something I think businesses underestimate.

Your business card might be the last thing someone remembers about you.

• Cheap paper.
• Poor print.
• Outdated information.

It doesn't exactly scream "professional".
Your business card doesn't need to be fancy.
It just needs to make the right impression.

Do you still use business cards?

Your exhibition is in 10 days.

Your banners aren't printed.
Your leaflets aren't ready.

And suddenly everyone is asking:
"Who was organising that?"

It happens more often than you'd think.

Exhibitions are stressful enough without chasing five different suppliers.

What's the biggest exhibition deadline you've ever had to work to?

One supplier for the design.

Another for the printing.

Someone else for the banners.

And you in the middle, trying to coordinate everything.

There is an easier way.
• I design it.
• I arrange the print.
• I manage the process.
• You deal with me.
Simple.

How many suppliers do you currently use for your marketing materials?

"Can you just print this for me?"

Usually, "just print it" isn't quite as simple as it sounds.
• Wrong size.
• Low-resolution images.
• Fonts missing.
• Artwork set up incorrectly.

That's where things can get expensive.
Good print starts before anything reaches the printer.

Have you ever sent something to print and discovered there was a problem?

Why does your print never quite match what you see on screen?

This usually comes down to one thing: RGB vs CMYK.

When you’re working on a screen, you’re seeing RGB. That stands for Red, Green, Blue.

Screens create colour using light. By mixing different intensities of these three colours, they can produce a wide range of visible colours. This is called additive colour mixing, and when all three combine at full strength, you get white.

The key point is this: screens can show more colours than print can reproduce.

Now printing works differently.

In print, we use CMYK: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black.

Instead of light, print uses ink. This is subtractive colour mixing, where each layer of ink reduces reflected light from the paper. In theory, combining all inks moves toward black.

So, in simple terms:
RGB is light (screens).
CMYK is ink (print).

Because they work in completely different ways, a colour that looks vibrant on screen may appear more muted when printed. It is not a mistake; it is a limitation of the process.

This is why colour management matters so much in design and print production.

So here is the real question…
Have you ever had something printed that looked completely different to what you expected on screen?

Receiving feedback like this never gets old.

A big thank you to Adam for leaving me this fantastic 5-star review after I redesigned his logo. It was great to work with you to create a fresh, professional identity that better reflects your academy, and I'm really pleased to hear you're happy with the result.

Thank you for your trust and support. Reviews like this mean a lot and help my small business continue to grow.
