'What are the Top 10 most important things you've learnt?'

1) Never stop marketing

2) Build an asset; a business that functions without you

3) Delegate and trust your team

4) Work smart not hard

5) Take time to think

6) Always be coachable

7) Raise your prices when busy

8) Whom you surround yourself with matters

9) Understand your numbers

10) Serve, don't sell

Spending some time improving my LinkedIn account tonight.

It's amazing how powerful this platform can be for businesses.

You just need to make sure...

1) You're on it

2) You're using it to its full potential!

Once you can tick these both, LinkedIn will become your new best thing..... It's addictive, seriously!

Would you pay £600 for a steak?

Im guessing probably not. But theres an audience that will pay it.

Dont judge your pricing by others standards.

One thing I hear all the time is "we cant charge that, its too much for this market"
It probably isnt, if it truly is, its likely youre in the wrong market but more likely theres some head s**t that needs adressing.

People will pay for an experience.
Thats why they are paying £600 for the steak! Its the experience.

What experience can you deliver to your customers to get them to pay premium prices?

Many Gurus: "Stay positive... Don't listen to your negative thoughts"

I think there's a lot to be learned about those negative thoughts, personally I listen to them, then find a way to negate what they are telling me, then I can let go of them - sometimes just writing it down helps a lot.

Some of what we are told is OTT, positivity and perseverance are all important but having open conversations is also a great way to ensure success.
