Introducing our next artist for the Network of Art Halloween special - Charlotte Snipe Art 👻

Charlotte is a British painter and multi-media artist based in Wiltshire. Her work spans across portraiture both in realism and abstract, as well as abstract expressionist to explore her core theme.

Charlotte's work focuses on emotion and the way this is both created and expressed in the human body; grief, pain, happiness, and the day to day goings on. Her use of varied materials aids Charlotte in her exploration in the way in which emotion is portrayed through her work.

Working between a minimal palette to draw you into the relationship between shape and expression, to complex layers that can evoke a sense of calm in the chaos. Through her work, Charlotte invites the viewer to pause and take a moment for themselves, to process the detail, and take a deep breath.

Charlotte graduated from the University of Reading in 2020 with an Honours degree in Art and Psychology. Charlotte has displayed work across the UK in London, Bath, and Swindon, as well as internationally in Ottawa (Canada).

On 23rd October team EE and Sinister Solutions will be bringing the Swindon creative and business community together with some dark magic for our Halloween edition 🔮

We've selected two spooktacular artists for our event and first up we have....

Harrie Dearing. Artist, resident artist & co founder of Studio Brut, is an outsider artist based in Swindon, who specialises in fine art expressionism. She works instinctively, exploring the shifting realms of the human condition: the light, the dark, and the surreal in-between.

For our Halloween themed exhibition, Harrie has curated a selection of her darker works: pieces that sit with grief, rot, and the things we're taught to keep hidden, giving them shape instead of leaving them to fester in private.

Alongside her paintings, the display includes secret objects that were never meant for a gallery... handmade altar crafts and curios, made for her own personal rituals as a practicing pagan. Rough, unpolished, and intimate expressions of her spirituality, they carry a different kind of honesty.

Her art and witchcraft will be displayed together for the first time, inviting you deeper into the heart & soul behind her work.

Our copywriting skills may be limited, but thankfully it's International Dog Day.

We always tell our clients that they absolutely MUST NOT use awareness days as a social media strategy.

We promised to keep the socials running smoothly while the boss was away.

We think we’re doing good!

We found out what the spellcheck thing was about - oops.

Anyhow, we have taped the wheel to the wall as we think it’s a pretty decent replacement for Sara to be fair.

One of us read Lord of the Flies last night and we’re now in full mood board mode. We are leaning into creativity today.

Anyone know of an uninhabited island near Swindon?

A weird thing happened today, Ben set a reminder for us but nobody knew what it was about - it just said ‘use spellcheck’ so we deleted it.

We have ate all the snacks.

We thing the rebrand is doing ok, looking into merch now, maybe t-shirts? Open to suggestions.

We wern’t sure how to spell ‘chaos’ becuz we did that thing when you look at a word for too long, so hopefully it’s right.

If anyone asks, we are thriving and we don’t miss Ben one bite.

Hopefully he is having to much of a good time to sea this post.
