One of the most significant advantages of recycling cardboard is its positive impact on landfill reduction. By diverting cardboard from landfills, we can prevent the release of harmful gases that contribute to climate change.

Recently, the Packaging Tax has made headlines, raising over £135 million for the treasury. Naturally, we're thrilled to see progress being made in recognising the environmental impact of packaging. However, we believe it's crucial to go beyond numbers and understand how this additional revenue will be invested in sustainability.

We decided to take action; we've written to our MP, urging him to provide detailed information on how this revenue will be allocated to support sustainability initiatives, in addition to the government's existing spending plans in this crucial area. We eagerly await their response, although we approach it with cautious optimism.
