How wonderful was it to see the sun yesterday? The clear blue skies were incredible and it’s amazing what it does to the soul! The sunrise yesterday morning was pretty special too - swipe right to see a pic I took of my daughter. We had an early start taking the youngest to dance class so we had a sneaky pre-school Costa!

This cardigan is entry into this weeks as it is definitely my hero knit. I have a similar version with orange, pink and blue colours which has featured on this grid many times. Having searched a long time for bright colourful cardigans these two from .a.e.boutique are absolutely gorgeous.

Can’t believe it’s Thursday already! Getting my roots done today thankfully - the greys need hiding!

Morning all!

When it comes to cost per wear this cardigan has been a fabulous investment! I think this is its third winter and having cost me £125 from I would probably guess it’s been worn about 100 times and is still going strong! I love pieces like this that just work over and over again.

The shirt is from a few months ago and these boots were a sale purchase in January 2020 and are my go to when the weather drops as my feet get cold super fast!

And I still love the cut of these jeans but they are fading - I really need to try dying them black but having talked about dying clothes for ages I am yet to actually take the plunge…..

How was your weekend? There was no dry January in our house as we caught up with friends Friday and Saturday night!

The theme for this weeks is best buys of 2021 and these Sosander pleather leggings have to be up there for me. I only got them towards the end of last year but have worn them probably twice a week since! These are the charcoal grey 3 zip version and am now on the waitlist for the black version. Happy new year to you all! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and have enjoyed the break.

We have certainly made the most of seeing people and have been lucky enough to stay Covid free. We had the best time NYE really letting our hair down and having a kitchen disco with friends until the early hours 💃

Now it’s back to reality and getting the house straight before the kids are back to school on Wednesday.

Everything here is shopped from my wardrobe apart from the loafers which were a Christmas present 🎁 I hope you got some lovely gifts too? Xx

Good morning instas - it’s been a while how have you all been? I had a little photo bomber for my first pic back 🤣.

It’s certainly been a testing recently hasn’t it - forever trying to dodge the Covid bullet!

Work has been busy and it’s taken a while to adjust but it’s been great and I take my hat off to everyone who works full time whilst juggling everything else life throws at us.

The plus side of warning my own wage is that I have given my winter wardrobe a little update and have had some great purchases. One of which was the gorgeous cardigan from .di as well as some sale purchases from and

It’s a chilled couple of days for us and then brunch with friends on Christmas Eve and visiting family on Christmas Day.

Some times all you need is a pair of jeans and a nice top 😊. This one is and is on offer for £19.99. However be aware of the sizing - I ordered a 10 and a medium arrived. If I had known I would gone smaller but I can get away with this size and couldn’t be bothered to send it back 🤣🤣
