Do you finish working with clients too tired to tackle your emails, consultation notes or marketing?

On 25th Sept 2025 I’m hosting a one-day in-person workshop to show you how to use Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT to help easy and speed up the laptop work that piles up after client sessions.

By the end of the day you will know how to use ChatGPT to:
draft clear customer emails,
turn messy client session notes into tidy forms, and
map out a month’s marketing with ready to publish blog, email and social content.

You do not need to be techy, as long as you know how to type and use basic stuff like the internet I will show you everything else.

Spaces are limited so I can give everyone plenty of personal attention and help - 2 spots have gone already so please don’t wait till last minute to book if you’re interested.

And if you like to procrastinate like me, there’s an early bird discount which will give you 25% off if you book before 1 August.

Wondering if this is suitable for you? Just DM me.

GenAI is improving rapidly. A few months ago I used ChatGPT to generate some images of my dogs Sausage and Dylan dressed up for something we're doing at our wedding in December.

I regenerated them last night before sending them to our guests and, wow, honestly my mind was blown with the difference in realism, quality and the model's ability to convert my prompt into an image.

Spending a single day to learn these skills now will set you up for long-term success. do list.

Like social media, it's not going away, and early adopters are already using it to answer customers quicker and keep their social media feeds active without hiring help or outsourcing to a VA or social media manager.

Spending a single day to learn these skills now will set you up for long term success.

If you are looking to learn how to use ChatGPT in your business, I am hosting a one-day in-person workshop, on Thursday 25th September 2025, 10am to 4pm, at Kemble's Field, near Evesham, Worcestershire.

I will show you how to use Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT to help with the laptop work that piles up after client sessions.

By the end of the day you will know how to use ChatGPT to draft clear customer emails, turn messy client session notes into tidy forms, and map out a month's marketing with ready to publish blog, email and social content that sound like you, not the generic emdash filled AI copy we're now seeing everywhere.

If you would like more information about what I will be covering, and to book your place (there's even an early bird offer if you sign up before 1st August), please head to: https://www.victoriamrose.co.uk/courses/how-to-use-chatgpt-25-sept-2025

Using ChatGPT for your social media copy but struggling to get much more than a random bunch of emojis, — thousands of emdashes — and the same old repetitive text?

Here’s a prompt I’ve created which will walk you through some key questions for ChatGPT to take on board before it comes up with your content.

Top tip, when it ask you what you want to avoid, tell it to never use emdashes, hyphens or emojis!

Feel free to copy the prompt below and let me know how you get on with it.

Prompt: Acting as my Social Media Manager, you will help me to come up with a month’s worth of [PLATFORM] content for my [TYPE OF BUSINESS] business [BUSINESS NAME].

You will ask me one question at a time until you have enough details to create three posts per week, with enough content for a month. Of the three weekly posts, one should be educational, one should position me as the person people need to learn from, and one should promote an offer.

Essential information to collect will be the target audience, the tone of voice for social media, the social media goal for the month (e.g. audience growth or more engagement), what topics I would like to cover, what is being promoted, anything new that positions me as an expert, anything I would like to avoid.

When you have finished your questions, you will create a table with this exact layout with the table headings in CAPITAL LETTERS:
Column 1: DAY
Column 2: TYPE (e.g. educational, postioning or promotional)
Column 3: POST CAPTION
Column 4: CALL TO ACTION

The POST CAPTION should be about 250 words and inserted into Column 3.

After you have created the table please fact check the POST CAPTIONS and detail any inaccuracies or points which need to be further researched or amended.

When we are done, ask if I would like to create another month of content.

Remember the crowd who thought Instagram wasn’t for business?

They left it for years and then had to play catch up anyway. Meanwhile kicking themselves that they hadn’t got on board when growing an audience was as simple as turning up and posting a photo with a rad filter.

The same thing is happening now with ChatGPT.

Small business owners are creating ChatGPT or Gemini accounts, getting stressed out when it generates some—absolute—awful—text—that—isn’t—relevant—and—includes—more—emdashes—than—you—can—count, and then promptly quitting.

But giving up and hoping this tech will vanish, or still avoiding it altogether, is only making life harder for your future self.

While you’re burning your head in the sand your competitors will be churning out marketing content.

It might smell of AI a mile off, but they’re still showing up in your audience‘s news feed ready to serve, ready to sell.

I promise you, it’s not as complicated as it seems!

Large language models, like ChatGPT, behave a bit like dogs.

They need clear cues, plenty of training and feedback.

When you give it s**t instructions, you will get s**t results.

As a freelance marketer and copywriter I’ve been using ChatGPT since it rolled out in Nov 2022.

It’s been a rollercoaster.

The high of expectations and the wanting to fling my laptop across the room because it just wasn’t getting me.

But over the months, I’ve learnt how to train it for my needs; how to shape its behaviour.

And now my ChatGPT performs like an obedient and intelligent service dog waiting for my next clear cue.

Now that I’ve finished a short course in prompt engineering with Vanderbilt University, and had some confirmation that I do know what I’d doing, I’m ready to help you too.

If you have been avoiding ChatGPT, or tried it and been under-whelmed, let me know your biggest questions in the comments, or DM me if you’re shy.

I will break them down and show you how to get the responses you actually want.

(Oh and yes, this post was written with ChatGPT and edited by me).

Had the most amazing day in Wales today with Collette Mid Wales Holidays and Emma Puppy Plus

✅ cuddled Gracie pups and my bff Rosie

✅ retail therapy and lunch at Coed Y Dinas

✅ watched Dylan have fun with other dogs without being an ASBO. I even think he made a new friend.

✅ drank lots of tea 🫖

✅ caught up with the girlies and laughed tons 🥰

Being self employed can be tough, but it’s days like this that make it all worthwhile.

My business gives me the freedom to work from anywhere and the flexibility to make last minute plans with friends which both mean I get to live a life I love.

(Plus I technically did work a smidge as I managed to get some new social media assets for Mid Wales Holiday 🥳)

You’ve probably had someone like, comment on or share one of your posts before. That's engagement.

Getting one like or comment is not the hard part. The hard part is getting tons of engagement on every single post you publish.

I hear all the time from people who are running their own socials that "engagement is down at the moment. I feel like giving up".

I know it is disheartening to feel like you're putting all this effort into posting for nothing. But the truth is, engagement is down.

Studies from Social Insider have shown that across all the platforms, social media engagement is declining year by year. In April 2023, Instagram's average engagement rate was reported as 0.6%. Facebook's average? Just 0.15%.

That means that if you want 100 people to engage with your post, you need to have around 16k followers on Instagram and 66k on Facebook 👀 🤯

Now these are just averages, and many businesses will have better engagement rates than this, but the point I'm making is that you don't have an engagement problem, you have a visibility problem.

Your audience size is not big enough for you to reach your expected engagement levels.

Before you rush off to work out how to grow your following to 50k overnight (this isn't possible unless you're a unicorn or go viral and even then it's not guaranteed), you need to remember that even if people are not engaging, it doesn't mean that they're not taking value from your content.

A huge amount of social media users are 'lurkers' - they read and absorb content without reacting to it.

We all focus too much on the likes and comments on each individual post and not on what really matters - using social media to make lasting and meaningful connections with current and potential customers.

You don't need 100 likes on your post to achieve this.

You can still get results (i.e. build better, long-term relationships with customers and make sales) by posting helpful content, replying to your DMs, taking time to engage with your client's / target audience's posts, and being a genuine person.

If you've found this interesting, let me know by hitting like. Or just lurk. Whatever works for you.

You’re allowed to want more time for yourself, away from your business.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to work in or on your business for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you're just starting out, you might need to do this to pay your bills and put food on the table.

But there IS something wrong if you're financially comfortable and feel like you have to work all the time because that's what business owners 'do'.

We all have different ideas of what success looks like.

Some people want to conform to the entrepreneurial "hustle" culture.

But lots of people don't.

Some people, and perhaps you fit into this, would rather prioritise family and friends, fitness and health, hobbies and passions, over admin and marketing.

If you're struggling to fit everything into the hours you'd LIKE to work, remember that it's ok to ask for help. It's ok to outsource the things you don't enjoy doing, or aren't great at, so that you can work less and live a better life.

Do you feel like you work too much? Let me know in the comments...
