Six years in business 🤍

I honestly can’t believe it’s been six whole years since I started my own business.

During Covid, I was furloughed and then made redundant. I was offered some freelance work and, in many ways, it forced me to make a decision: wait for another job, or take a chance on myself.

I chose the latter. I’ve always believed fortune favours the brave, and thankfully, what felt like a risk at the time quickly became anything but.

From the beginning, enquiries, recommendations and new opportunities started coming in. I initially focused on PR and business development, before social media and content creation quickly became a huge part of what I do.

It actually started with one person who followed my personal socials and said they loved how naturally and creatively I created content. They asked if I’d manage theirs. I’d never done it for anyone else before, but I said, “If you trust me, let’s give it a go.”

Six years later, I now support businesses across property, fashion, beauty, travel, hospitality, medical, events, food & beverage and more, from social media and content creation to PR, product placement, filming, Meta ads and business development.

I’ve met some incredible people, retained some wonderful clients, welcomed new ones, including a new client just this week, and I’m incredibly grateful for how far this business has come.

And now, I’m giving LUME by LMStudios more of my time again. My books are officially open, with a few spaces available for new clients.

I have been attending FD Festival for the last 5 years, way before I had the opportunity to work with them. I have witnessed its growth in both event size and community.

Today marks two weeks to go until our Funky Dory Henley Royal Regatta events … and I couldn’t be more excited 🤍✨

I’m so proud to be part of the Funky Dory team and to have been working behind the scenes bringing this three-day summer experience to life. It’s been incredible pulling together such amazing partners, brands, and talent to create something really special.

Across the 2nd–4th July, we’ll be hosting a quintessential British summer celebration on the banks of Henley, with a Funky Dory twist, of course…

✨ 2nd July – Ladies’ Day in collaboration with Modern Woman, headlined by the brilliant Kate Garraway
🤍 3rd July – Ibiza White Party
🪩 4th July – Studio 54 Day-to-Evening Experience

Expect everything we’re known for, good vibes, great music, incredible food and unforgettable energy.

We’ve secured some amazing food vendors including Italian pizza & pasta, Mexican tacos, Indian street food, plus coffee, cake and more. Alongside that, we’ve curated a fantastic shopping area with some brilliant pop-ups.

I’m also so proud of the incredible brands supporting us - including Bentley, Porsche, Qlvr (a female-founded training brand) and CityRise.

It’s been such a joy bringing this all together, and we genuinely can’t wait to welcome you.

Such a special afternoon celebrating women in an industry that’s evolving in the best way ✨

Thank you to for hosting a fabulous Women in Watches event at the Royal Opera House store as part of Bucherer Novelty Days. An inspiring panel led by Ming Liu, alongside incredible women from IWC, Bulgari and Piaget, all at the top of their game.

It was fascinating to hear their journeys, insights, and what’s next for the watch industry. So refreshing to see such strong female voices shaping the future of a space that has traditionally been male-dominated.
