I can't believe it's been a whole year since going solo and what an amazing year it has been! Going freelance has without a doubt been the best decision I ever made and I want to thank my fantastic clients for keeping me so busy! My amazing client needed a brand to align with her personality and vision to help bring men and women back to full vitality through nutrition coaching. This inspirational lady helps get rid of bad habits such as excessive calorie deficits and busts dieting myths to educate and coach people out of problematic health conditions and into the best versions of themselves 💛

•

We decided on a gender neutral, positive and happy colour palette that felt fresh and bursting with vitality. We kept the logo simple to allow a multitude of applications and focused on the design of the social media page. I created a number of varied social media templates to allow my client to recreate her own posts and to create a varied, textured and energetic feel to the Instagram page

As our wedding unfortunately fell into the two week delay before 'freedom day' we had to make some last minute changes to our plans and come up with ideas on how to keep our guests safe whilst keeping things lighthearted and relaxed

•

I designed these badges for guests who felt uncomfortable with hugs and social contact at the wedding. This was a lighthearted solution to avoid any awkward greetings between guests as we navigated the strange new world of 'to hug or not to hug' - that was the question 🤔

Miss to Mrs! 👰🏼‍♀️🤍

After 18 months of wedding planning amongst the chaos of the pandemic and coronavirus restrictions on weddings, I am so happy to say that on the 3rd July I finally tied the knot with my amazing hubby  what a truly special day it was 🤍

•

Now I finally have my evenings and weekends back I am excited to start the next stage of my business development and hopefully start posting content more than once every few months 😂 no promises though! Lots of exciting things happening here and lots of existing projects to share too including some branding and of course some wedding signage 🥂

Luxury Certificate of Authenticity

Every new owner of a Skeggs Photography fine art print recieves a specially designed certificate of authenticity pack including the certificate itself, custom made wax stamp seals, information about the artist and a 'behind the photo' postcard detailing the story behind the subject in their chosen print. This is all presented inside a foiled box complete with business card, tissue paper and branded sticker.

•

The aim of the pack was not just to act as a proof of authenticity but to provide the customer with a luxury experience to complement the high end nature of the brand. To achieve this I paired together multiple textures and finishes including wax, foil, vellum and textured papers to create a tactile and visually pleasing experience for the recipient.

New brand design for a talented hair and makeup artist based in Henley-on-Thames. The brief was to create a feminine, elegant and modern brand that could split between two areas of focus, hair and makeup and mobile beauty. The client wanted a simple, user-friendly website where they could take the reins when I had finished to edit the website as Ella's business grows. The muted colour palette allows the brand to sit back and allow the stunning photography to shine and speak for itself.

In addition to the branding and website I designed Ella's social media assets, business cards, loyalty cards and brochure.

Continuing the festivities with a virtual icing masterclass from Biscuiteers 👩🏻‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳

I am a huge biscuiteers fan and a few months ago I decided that it was time for me to try it myself - I am a creative right, so surely i'd be a natural!? Wrong. 😂 Turns out icing biscuits requires incredible skill and therefore some tuition was needed!! So we treated ourselves to a virtual masterclass to learn the tips and tricks from the very best!

•

We recieved our kit through the post which had all the tools and icing we needed, including some cute biscuiteers aprons! And then we set up my ipad on the table for some one-on-one coaching on icing our gorgeous winter market biscuits. I am pleased to say I now know how to do line icing - yay!!! And can't wait to try out more in the future. It was such a great class and hats off to biscuiteers to injecting some fun into all the lockdowns and restrictions with these brilliant virtual icing classes! I 🤩🙌🏻✌🏻

Christmas looks a little different this year, but I think in a way the pandemic has reminded us to stand back and see the bigger picture, to be grateful for what we have, and not sweat the small stuff quite so much.
