Hi! I am Samantha, the lady behind the logo.

I am based in Southampton and work with Women across Hampshire, Wiltshire and Surrey. I have worked in the fashion industry for over 10 years, and before becoming a mum I worked at various retailers including Jack Wills, Debenhams, and River Island.

After having my first child I struggled to find my fashion mojo despite previously being very fashion savvy. I felt I could or shouldn’t wear certain things now I was a mum, and struggled to find that desire to try.

After months of carrying a child and breast feeding, I no longer saw myself in the same way. The demands on me as a women had shifted to caring for this tiny human, running a house and generally putting everyone else before me. My body shape had changed and it seemed less familiar and I didn’t know how to dress for this new ‘alien’ shape and new lifestyle.

Upon returning to the workplace I met a couple of personal stylists, and was around clothes retailers much more, and working with them ignited the old me’s love for fashion. I started to re-evaluate my style and shape and gradually started create a new style post baby.

When my second child came along, I didn’t feel so lost. I was still developing my style and understanding my body shape; that once again had changed, but I felt more experienced and more open to experimenting with clothes. Once I finished breastfeeding, and I knew that no more kids were in the pipeline, I felt I was truly able to embrace being ‘me’, and that’s when I starting training as a stylist. I’d done a bit of styling on the past pre kids, but had never taken the leap. Now that I had undertaken by own personal style journey; which I am still on, I realised now that I had not only the excitement for fashion and style but also the experience and understanding to help other women like me rediscover themselves.

Some might think it’s vain to put so much importance on clothes, but to me my clothes are how I express ‘me’, they are my ‘armour’, like my make up can be ‘war paint’. I don’t need them, but they give me self confidence, they make me walk a little taller and they make me ‘Samantha’, not just Mum, housekeeper and cook.

So give me a pair of coated jeans 👖, some chunky white trainers 👟and a slogan t 👕and I can take on the world! 💪🏻
