You know when you meet a celebrity and secretly hope they’re as brilliant in real life as they are on stage… and then they actually are? That was Katherine Ryan Wednesday night. Sharp, funny, completely in control of the room and somehow still lovely enough to happily stop for a photo. No diva moment, no drama, just properly good energy and exactly why she’s one of the best at what she does.

Great night at the Fleet News Awards 2026 and proud to say we were finalists in two categories, Sustainable Fleet of the Year and Fleet of the Year. Being in the room with brands like Polestar, The AA, NHS Trust, Ford and JLR shows how strong the industry is right now, so to be recognised alongside them means a lot.

The night had a big focus on the future of transport, sustainability and pushing the industry forward, which is something I’m proud we’re part of, running our fleet on HVO and always looking at better ways to do things.

Also great to share the evening with some of the wonderful team and meet some brilliant people across the industry.

What a night! ✨

Still buzzing from an incredible evening at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards with the New Era Energy team at the beautiful

We were finalists in two categories — Clean Transport and Sustainable Supply Chain — and while we didn’t take home the trophy this time, being recognised for our work in driving cleaner fuels and smarter, more sustainable supply chains feels like a huge win in itself.

As someone who’s pivoted from conceptual and brand design into brand management, moments like this remind me why I love what I do, shaping brands that not only look good, but do good.

Huge thanks to everyone who made the night one to remember — from the brilliant host Holly Walsh, to all the inspiring finalists (special shoutout to Emma Voss and the Iron Mountain team 💚), and of course the amazing crew for always striving for excellence.

And a special thank you to my friend for giving me the red carpet look! 💄 Always such a joy catching up — I leave feeling glammed up and lifted every time. We all need another perspective once in a while. ✨

Here’s to continuing the journey toward a cleaner, greener future — with purpose, creativity and a bit of sparkle along the way.

Women Who Lift Each Other Up | International Women’s Day 2025

Hi, I’m Melissa Lancaster, Brand Manager at New Era Energy and I’ve met more incredible women in this male-dominated industry than I ever expected, women who lift each other up, create female energy and unite for a common cause.

At New Era, we’re on a mission to decarbonise businesses by switching to HVO fuel, a cleaner fuel for a smoother ride, cutting emissions by up to 90%!

Our easy-to-use and recyclable innovation is designed to reduce environmental impact by considering all elements of packaging, including structure, materials and production methods.

The innovative industry first in fuel dispensing has captured the attention of the judges, standing out among over 2,000 entries from 60+ countries worldwide.

The Pentawards, established in 2007 are the world’s leading packaging design competition, celebrating excellence in creativity and innovation. Recognised globally, the Pentawards honour the best in design and provide a platform for designers to drive the industry forward.
