My Little Person 2024 wall planners available for Christmas 🎁

I worked with Amy Takes Photos on her rebrand earlier this year - LOVE it when a brand comes to life in the real world!

Go check her out, she’s super talented and has the warmest heart - if you are ever in need of an experienced photographer to put you at ease and make the process an enjoyable one…she your gal!

I photographed my first wedding 13 years ago Jenny and Rich. Photography was just a hobby back then and I was terrified, there’s a huge difference between taking snaps with no pressure and taking photos of such a big milestone in someone’s life. Thankfully they were happy and my business (gradually) grew from there. I’ve since photographed their twins!

I formed Capture Events as an umbrella (with help from the lovely Chris) for my Capture Photography and Capture Booth and had loads of fun at events with my vintage style booth. (thanks Jim and Andi)

Photography allows you to have lovely snapshots into people’s lives, generally on very happy days. I have connected with so many people through what I do.

I still get nervous before a shoot or a wedding but I guess that’s because I care so much that people love their photos. The most challenging part of the job is helping people to feel more relaxed in front of the camera because it’s tough and people are self conscious but they still want the memories to be captured. I’ve grown much more confident at this over the years.

Anyway so I’ve felt for a while that I needed to rebrand so my business can reflect me and is now Amy Takes Photos! My style has developed, I know who I am and how I like to photograph. The whole process has been pretty easy because I’m not trying to be someone else, oh and also because Anna Rigby Design is amazing and has created all of my beautiful branding.

Thank you everyone who has supported me on my journey so far, I’ve loved seeing repeat clients for their wedding and the birth of their first child, then their second… it’s so special seeing their kids change and capturing those beautiful memories.

The final piece of the puzzle!!!

Eeek, it’s out there, Pinnacle Nutrition is out there!

This has been such a leap of faith this year & absolutely nailed it! Not only was she an absolute joy to work with, she listened & ‘got it’ from the beginning. Seeing her being the vision to life was incredible.

We’ll start revealing more about what Pinnacle Nutrition stands for in the coming days/weeks.

There’s still lots going on behind the scenes & the wonderful is going to work her magic on the new website which is so exciting! Another incredible woman in business!

Thank you to everyone who has guided, acted as a focus group, given their feedback over the past few months, it’s mean a lot!

Thank you for all of you who helped by voting for your favourite…after much deliberation, there are now 3 versions of this year’s wall planner:

• RAINBOW with all the soft brights
• BLACK & NEON, and trust me it’s bright 😎

All A1 in size (594 x 841mm) so perfect for the back of a door or empty space on a wall, and litho printed onto premium Matt paper, so perfect for making plans. And changing them 😉

Each planner features the full moon and new moon dates, and have been designed to work perfectly with wooden poster frames, as pictured.

*Small Business ‘Pay What You Can’ Branding Package*

So, we’re all in a bit of a sticky situation...some of us are working (the heroes!), some of us aren’t, for various reasons - also, bloody heroes!!

As small business owners, some of us will find support from the government, and some of us (like me) will fall through the cracks. So what can we do? From my perspective I need to work for financial reasons, from a sanity point of view, and also as a freelance graphic designer, I am only as good as my last project. Some of you reading this will want to make the most of this ‘quiet(?)’ time and invest in your business, but let’s be honest, time and money may not be freely available, especially if you have kid’s at home, or are still trying to find business to pay the bills!

For this reason, I would like to offer a limited number of ‘Pay What You Can’ branding packages to small business owners, who want to brand/re-brand their business, but cannot justify the full expense right now.

So, here’s the deal: I will streamline my usual package to make it as affordable as possible, and you let me know what you can afford right now. Let’s start a conversation!

There are a couple of caveats...
• I don’t work for free (sorry!)
• I don’t do templated or £50 ‘quick’ logos (Fiverr is probably a good place to try for this)
• I only create bespoke branding, as unique as you and your business are.

My streamlined package includes;
• Primary & Secondary logos
• Brand assets (such as illustration or pattern to bring your brand to life)
• Editable social media templates (supplied via Canva)
• Brand guideline document, with all of your fonts, colours etc.
Normal price for this would start at £600, but now fully negotiable!

There will only be 3 of these slots available, and only until the end of April 2020, so be quick if this might be something you are interested in!
