Happy New Year to all!

It is that wonderful time of the year akin to starting school in September, a clean slate and a chance to make the next year happen!

This also marks the 6-month of Pentabury existing! In that time we have grown from a couple of pieces of work for friends to supporting business globally, heading their marketing strategy for the next year, as well as helping local businesses get a handle over their business structure and planning.

Jump into the weekend like a puppy enjoying the autumn leaves!

Autumn provides such an excellent time to take pictures, especially on my new iPhone 13 Pro! Never a substitute for professional photography, a good quality mobile camera allows quick shots to have a significant impact, also importantly saving money for clients!

The power of marketing is sometimes hard to quantify and often the results we show are in the form of audience reach, likes, shares and comments. But last week I concluded a campaign and the outcome was easy to see. It had tripled the revenue and led to the most successful sale weekend in the nearly 30 years my client had been trading.

What made it so successful?

Instead of going through the simple easy routes of posting online about a sale that was coming up, we hammered home what we knew would bring our customers in. Show off the brands, and what good value for money it was.

Simple changes, instead of saying 75% off we showed it another way, a £200 jacket is now £50. Suddenly people can see this is a huge saving and they are hooked. Also get real people in the items so they can see what the clothes look like...puppies also help!

The outcome?

Queues before opening, revenue return 3 times greater than other sales and some very tired staff keeping up with the demand.

This was such a fantastic achievement and a clear win for marketing.

Always lovely to have a happy client! I am chuffed with this new website that I have designed for Essies Equine Rug Laundry & Repairs. It has been such a wonderful journey getting into the depths of what makes her business so special, from over 20k rugs, repaired and washed to the fact that her business is SO nearly carbon neutral.

I know rugs, I have washed and repaired over 20,000 and have created a space that is designed to do just that.
