A bit late to be talking about this, but what can I say, it's been busy 😮‍💨😅

Look at this beauty! The incredible team at 3Q Sports have absolutely smashed it with this design for Chatteris Town Football Club Young Lillies ⚽. It’s not every day you get to see your brand front and centre on something so impactful, really proud to support the Young Lillies, a brilliant local youth team, here at Inkley.

Seeing partnerships and projects like this make this journey so exciting, and supporting young people is something we're hugely proud of at Inkley Media.

Well, it’s that time of year again — the oh-so-dreaded Blue Monday. But let’s be real, it’s nothing more than a clever marketing tactic designed to sell you more stuff. 90% of what we see online? Yep, you guessed it — pure marketing genius.

We inhale content, we inhale marketing, we inhale our phones like it’s air. Every scroll, every swipe, we’re being fed sales tactics wrapped up in pretty filters and carefully curated feeds. 🛒

So, when the ‘Blue Monday’ blues hit, remember this: it’s just another day in the life of being marketed to. From influencer-perfect lives to “limited-time only” offers, it’s ALL a marketing tactic. (Yes, I’m a hypocrite, even this is a marketing tactic - I won’t lie to you here my friend, I want to work with YOU✌🏼)

Don’t let the Blue Monday marketing get to you. Instead of buying into the hype, scroll past, sip your coffee, and let’s get on with our busy business’ being a success. That’s what’s important in our world fellow business owner!

And with that, the 2024 season, comes to an end.

And what a year 👀

A year of growth for our team, a year of new and exciting contracts, a year of laughter, tears (only at times and mainly from Holly), a year of too many takeaway’s put through the books 👀🤣, a year of reasons that we love Inkley and love what we do. And judging by this reel, a year of us not taking enough photos as a team!!!!

To all of our clients - we are SO grateful for you. YOU are the reason we get to do what we love every day. You are the reason we get freedom, the reason we are passionate, and are always wanting to do and be better. Thank you all for putting your business’ trust in ours. We are grateful, and in 2025 will continue to work harder than ever for you all. We adore each and every project, and client that we get the chance to work with.

To my team, and a personal note from Holly. The support you have all given me this year, the belief in Inkley, the hard work and endless hours you’ve all given - I cannot even begin to thank you all enough. YOU are all the reason I work so hard, and believe in Inkley with my whole heart. YOU work so hard. Here’s your Saturday reminder that the magic is in you 🫶

We didn’t manage to post on and mainly because I overthink my content hugely. I sat and overthought the idea that it may not be relevant to post on Inkley’s page - but why wouldn’t it be? We spend most of our lives at work. Of course work hugely impacts your mental health, in the best and worst ways!

Rough day? Clients being tough? Something didn’t go the way you wanted it to? Impacts your mental health.

Great day? Clients leaving amazing reviews? Your team member unexpectedly gets you a yummy coffee? Or makes a joke you all laughed at for 20 mins? Impacts your mental health.

I think mental health is sometimes always looked at as a negative, but just like your physical health, things can impact it so so so positively.

So work and mental health do go hand in hand, and just as it’s so important that you look out for signs of potential negative impacts on your mental health so you can address them, it would be amazing to look out and potentially even go out of your way to find potential signs of things that positively impact too, so you can relish in them. Maybe days would be a million times nicer 🤍

It’s important that we look out for ourselves, our friends, our family. Know the signs and look for ways to help yourself and others just within daily life.

Looking over at my team and thinking about how proud I am of them all working together so incredibly all the time ☁️ … vs what they’re working on 👀🤣🍕

We’ve had a great month! And so have our clients 🫶🏼

⭐️ Over one million people reached through our marketing for our clients
⭐️ Brand new PR deal for one of our clients with their dream brand
⭐️ Oasis tickets in the bag

AND... We’ve given up the office diet. We were competing for £30 per week to see who could lose the most weight (very toxic we do understand but we are all competitive and all on board). But alas, we gave up, we’re chunky and happy - it is coming into Winter now and we need a little extra fluff. Now who’s ordering the ? 🍕

Industry trends are hurting luxury brands 👀👇

Trends come and go, but not all of them are worth following—especially in the luxury space.

Think of the very demure, very mindful trend - it came and went incredibly fast. And to some now, it’s just a very annoying trend! If you saw your favourite luxury brand do this trend 3 days later when it’d already ‘gone off’, what would your thoughts be? 👀

Some industry practices might seem like a good idea at first, but they can end up diluting the very essence of what makes a brand special. It’s important to stay true to your brand’s values and focus on quality over quantity, ensuring that every decision enhances, rather than detracts from, your brand’s identity. 🤍
