My name is Edward James Johnson McKinstry and I was born
in Carrickfergus in 1973 and now live in Belfast. I graduated
from Magee College, University of Ulster in 1998 with a
2:1 degree in Graphic Design. My company name is J. Art and I specialize in oil painting,
sketching and making hand made calendars as well
as recently teaching art. I produce three calendars; Belfast, Northern Ireland an

d Titanic. All the calendars are made by myself from sketching to design
and finally the printing; which makes them 100% hand made. I have been painting in oil colours since I was 16 years old
in 1989, and since then I have completed many commissions
especially portraits as well as having exhibited my work
in a few art galleries. I had a craft table at St. George's Market from 2004 -2006 where I sold the same artwork I would later sell at craft fairs.
