Fovea Creative is a creative agency that’s been helping charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations get their message across for 25 years. My work includes graphic design, branding, photography and editorial services, spanning print and digital media. My clients include national charities, social enterprises and local community organisations. Fovea Creative is run by Ian Cuthbert and is the new name for Cuthbert Design.

I had another great photography session with Saheli Hub this morning, this time at Ward End Park and Alum Rock Community Centre (ARCC) in Birmingham. We had two walk and talk sessions - one for men (which ended with a bit of tennis!) then one for women.

The staff were so warm and welcoming and that's the key to Saheli Hub's success: they create the safe, inclusive environment that's the precursor to their impressive impact on mental and physical health and wellbeing in communities across Birmingham.

I'm back at ARCC tomorrow for the final session of this series, capturing some moments to illustrate the impact of Saheli Hub's art sessions. Hand on heart, it feels like a privilege that I get to do this type of photography. I never take for granted the trust being placed in me to document this work and these wonderful people.

It was lovely to spend time with Saheli Hub at St Andrew’s Sports & Community Centre in Handsworth, Birmingham today. I was photographing their amazing work getting women involved in physical activity, sport and crafts. There was great turnout for a super friendly crochet and knit group and chair-based exercise session (not all of which involved a chair!).

Not everyone wants their photo published, so we try to come up with creative ways to represent participants in ways they are comfortable with.

I've been doing photography and design work for Saheli Hub for 10 years now. It always like such a privilege to be invited to help document their incredible impact in communities around Birmingham.

Authentic, natural photos of your events, activities or just the day-today are a powerful way to illustrate the impact of your organisation.

I’ve been photographing charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations for 25 years. From conferences, workshops and classes to performing arts and sports. From the day-to-day work of your organisation to portraits and PR photos.

Much of my work has been in sensitive settings, including mental health, addiction and recovery, criminal justice, social care and community development. With a quiet, calm and respectful approach, I aim to keep out of the way so that people are relaxed and can focus on their activity, work or event.

I have a shop! Beautiful framed prints of Birmingham scenes are now available on Etsy!

BrumBurbs is my personal take on Birmingham street scenes. There's a small selection available for immediate order, in two sizes and three frame finishes. I'll be adding a lot more photos, sizes and other oprions over the coming weeks.
