Never underestimate the power of sound design.

It can help breathe even more life into a video asset. It’s not just a case of adding a music track, it’s about layering sound effects, carefully mixing them together, and creating a multi dimensional experience that elevates the footage.

Here are a few highlights of what we did for our most recent project for SaxonAir Private Air Travel:
- We used diegetic sound in the first clip, the sound of a jet flying from the left channel to the right, placing the viewer directly on the airfield, making it feel like the plane is flying right overhead.

- We added a faint, indistinct radio chatter in the helicopter scene, helping the viewer feel like they’re right there with the passengers and crew boarding the helicopter.

- To enhance the luxury feel, we incorporated higher frequency sound effects to emphasise the transitions between scenes, adding to the sense of elegance.
In some scenes, we couldn’t use the original on set audio, as you can imagine, it was pretty loud! For example, the sound of the passenger door closing was actually a van’s side door, swapped in for a cleaner, more controlled sound.

- The rotor blades’ audio was also replaced with something that had a bit more depth and weight to it.

- We found the perfect sound effect for the glasses clinking even before filming began. We loved it so much, we built that moment around it!

What do you think of the finished piece? Were you surprised by the source of some of these sound effects?

It’s one thing to receive amazing feedback on a project, but it’s another level entirely to be asked for divine.media's logo to be featured alongside SaxonAir Private Air Travel’s partners on their website.

Proud is an understatement. Huge thanks to the Saxon Air team for trusting us to bring their vision to life!

We create visual assets that ignite emotion and resonate deeply providing experiences that linger long after the screen fades to black. This is key for companies like Saxon Air, helping to convey their premium elegance within the luxury sector.

Behind each scene, creative decisions were meticulously planned, from focal lengths and colour palettes to movement and pacing, every detail was considered. To enhance the visual excellence further, post-production refinements were made to reflect the brand’s values, a process we’re excited to unveil soon.

"10 out of 10, SO HAPPY with that! This has actually made my day, if not year!!"
😃 This is the part we've been most looking forward to sharing. Letty and Anibe's first reaction to the completed video project, so glad we captured our Teams call.

It's fair to say the team has exceeded SaxonAir Private Air Travel's expectations. This is what happens when you meticulously plan a video project with a client, execute and deliver. We relentlessly refined the footage in post to give it the polish it deserved and ensured it aligned with what we had planned. Turning stormy skies into golden hour, enhancing every detail to reflect the luxury and elegance the Saxon Air brand.

divine.media's ethos of Every Frame Counts is at the core of everything we do and this project was no different. We wanted to ensure this feature for Saxon Air was reflecting the brand's commitment to a luxury and premium service.

Strategic focus on our objectives and audiences to target, a focused attention to detail and a collaborative approach with the client was not only key to the success of this project, but its also divine.media's USP.

We worked with Letty Dellaquila to thoroughly understand the vision for this project for SaxonAir Private Air Travel. We worked together to create a mood-board and storyboard ahead of filming. Everything from the camera movement, the focal length, blocking of a scene was considered to really helped convey the what Saxon Air is about as well as capture the emotions and aesthetic style to engage with the target demographic.

It also hugely helped us on the two days of production to make use of everyone's time and the limited daylight we had to work with!
On production day 1 of 2, we had two crews operating simultaneously at two different locations who were briefed and referred back pre-production storyboards and notes to ensure each shot was captured.

In our most ambitious project to date.

This is The Art of Aviation Storytelling...

Producing a video for SaxonAir Private Air Travel involved precision planning and creative problem-solving. From coordinating aircraft schedules to working across different airports and aerodromes, every detail was considered to reflect their exceptional service.

We caught up with Letty Dellaquila as she explains how we brought their story to life through our cinematic expertise.

"Are you available?"

That was how our Thursday morning started, during the commute to the studio. The call came from a charity in Lowestoft that runs a rehabilitation retreat, and they needed a production company to help share a powerful client success story to promote their work.

From the moment we heard their vision, we were inspired. The passion behind their mission was clear, and we knew we wanted to be part of it.

Retelling someone’s personal story, especially one filled with loss, like this lady’s journey through grief after losing her husband, is never easy. It requires sensitivity, the right questions, and a thoughtful approach.

We can’t wait to share the full project with you. For now, here are some stills from the video.

A few stills from our latest video with Centurion Safety. We really put out all the stops for this one, we only had one day to film it all so timing and pre-production planning played a huge part to make this project successful.

Working alongside Julie Hepton and Shannon Quirke we managed to organise a brilliantly crafted video featuring all the departments that make up Centurion Safety Products.

Special thanks to Joseph Harrington to helping out too.

Some of you may know that my younger sister is deaf. This has presented challenges in her life but also opportunities too, for example learning BSL.

One thing I've never understood is why don't all video creators offer subtitling in their videos.
The idea of asking clients to pay more for accessibility really doesn't sit well with me. It's almost like saying to a hearing client "Hey if you want sound, that's extra".

This is why I offer free subtitling to my clients for free. Even if they don't want to use them, I add them when I upload their videos to my portfolio. Not only does this improve engagement, increase views and help with SEO, it helps my sister and others in the deaf community understand the content.

👇Here it is, the product launch video for Centurion Safety Product's Nexus E: Protect.

The video first debuted at their exhibition stand and has since been used as a sales asset as part of their marketing campaign for the product. So we had to capture the attention of the exhibitors meaning every frame must count.

💭 The aim was to provide a brief overview, spark interest and create desirability for the product. As well as reintroduce the company and their sustainability mission with this product to new prospective customers.

💬 “divine.media were absolutely excellent they worked with our brief and actually exceeded our expectations. The end result we have been able to use many times as he provided social media snap shots so turned out to be excellent value for money.” - Julie Hepton Strategic Product Marketing Leader | Centurion Safety Products

😃 It gives us great pleasure to share this short testimonial Centurion Safety Products put together for divine.media, based on our latest project together for the product launch video of their latest innovation - the Nexus E:Protect.

🌍 It was a brilliant project to work on to present the product in an impactful way on the international stage.

Yesterday we shared some screen grabs of the edit, let's take that further with showing you the process.

👀 Here's a breakdown of the product shots from the product launch project with Centurion Safety.

This 13 second clip of the product shots takes a lot of set up. Not only do you need to make sure the product is lit perfectly, you have to set up your blue/green screen, camera and product accordingly too. Even more challenging was doing this on an 8-bit camera - so we had to invest in Sony FX3 after this!

💡Through creative use of lighting we were able to generate some dynamic shots to create a grand reveal of the product.

🎧To polish it off the sound design stitches it all together to provide that premium feel.

The finished sales asset video helps create a premium feel, sparks interest and desire for the product.

💬 The result for Centurion Safety? "We were super pleased with the engagement we received".

Final videos to be posted soon stay tuned!

divine.media was approached by Centurion Safety Products to produce a series of product teasers and a product launch video for their latest sustainable innovation.

👊The brief was to create an exciting series of video content for first use at a trade show event. The video had to portray Centurion as an innovative market leader, communicate their sustainability vision and introduce the company in the strongest way possible.

🎬 The filming took place on site at Centurion's premises in Thetford for the pieces to camera and b-roll, as well as filming the product on a blue screen being rotated on a turntable.

👇 Here are a few behind the screens shots of what went on in the edit suite.

Long distance selling can be tricky when trying to remove complexity of concepts, sell products and showcase a brand. This is where the collaboration of video marketing from divine.media came in.

In this amazing testimonial from Jacob Freshwater at Fresh Motors we sat down to discuss how the videos we produced for them helped solved that problem, increased product sales conversion and helped them achieve a 76.8% click through rate on one of their product pages.

We are excited to share a testimonial from Able2B. They were looking to increase awareness of what they do and generate more enquiries so they can help more individuals. With our skillset we helped them harness the power of video marketing.

We worked with them to create a series of short, engaging videos that showcased their service and their client success stories.

As a result of our work, Able2B saw one of their videos go viral being viewed over 350,000 times increasing their exposure way further than Norfolk and also generated a significant number of new enquiries from the Midlands!

Here's what Social Media Manager Ella had to say about our work...

4 things you probably didn’t notice in our latest video for CIM Signs and Graphics

23/11/2022

Here is what the video timeline looks like for the latest project with CIM Signs and Graphics.

We used multiple layers for the video which comprised of the kinetic typography text and the video clips themselves.

For audio we also had a multitude of different layers, adding additional sound effects to accentuate the actions.

To make some of the moves more dynamic and create seamless transitions we used speed ramps - can you notice where they are?

18/11/2022

Over the past few months we have been capturing lots of footage of the team at CIM Signs and Graphics doing what they do best.

We set aside some of the best bits to create this business introduction video which sits perfectly on their website to explain what they do in a snapshot and to introduce them in the boldest way possible.

03/11/2022

"...its enabled us to move forward with those organisations and individuals much, much quicker because they get us straight away"

This right here, is where the Video Business Card blows away any other form of brand awareness marketing. Able2B had tried other methods of explaining what they do so they can help more individuals at their gym, however nothing had quite worked.

We listened to what marketing activity had and hadn't worked in the past and decided to introduce Able2B in the boldest way possible with a VBC. This significantly increased the speed of the conversion rate and people just "got it" and now they're helping more and more people. Objective achieved.

02/11/2022

"And by using the Video Business Cards that's allowed, firstly us to get our message across in a much more personal and meaningful way..."

We caught up with co-founder of Able2B Rachael to discuss the impact that the Video Business Cards has had for Able2B and why it has proven to be a significantly more effective marketing tool for them.

20/10/2022

"I love what I do now more than actually boxing, I love helping people! What a great feeling to go home, drive home, knowing you've made a difference to someone's life".

Jon is a ex-professional boxer who left the ring and opened the doors of Able2B. Jon's enthusiasm and passion is incredibly infectious, helping the individuals that need the support of Able2B.

We didn't just do one video business card for Able2B, we wanted to share who Jon the co-founder of Able2B is, what he does at Able2B, why he does it, who he helps and what qualifies him to help the individuals.

Able2B exist to optimise day to day function for individuals with a disability. They connect with the individual to find out what their goal is, be it being able to walk, reengage their motor skills, regain their independence or whatever it is - they work with them to help them achieve that goal.

"This whole building is such a positive place to be all the time and that's not just for the clients that come in, its for us guys as well. Its a privilege for people to put their trust in us to try the methods that we're using"

As part of a video business card series, we wanted to share who Rachael the co-founder of Able2B is, what they do at Able2B, why they do, who she helps, what qualifies her to help the individuals. Simply put, this is a wonderful individual who recognised a problem and her passion pursued her to develop a solution which is Able2B.

What this video business card does it answer all those questions so their prospects understand the business and what they can achieve for them.

Able2B exist to optimise day to day function for individuals with a disability. They connect with the individual to find out what their goal is, be it being able to walk, reengage their motor skills, regain their independence or whatever it is - they work with them to help them achieve that goal.

18/10/2022

We really do work with some of the most amazing people. As part of a video series we were asked to help introduce Able2B and get their message across in the boldest way possible. As part of one the videos, we asked co-founder Jon Thaxton to tell us a success story of Able2B.

Able2B exist to optimise day to day function for individuals with a disability. They connect with the individual to find out what their goal is, be it being able to walk, reengage their motor skills, regain their independence or whatever it is - they work with them to help them achieve that goal.

We're so thrilled they've asked us to do another set of videos for them. Such a great cause.

Here is what the video timeline tear-down looks like for the latest project with Delta Fire.

We used multiple layers for the video which comprised of the text, their logo, lens flares, the cloud at the beginning to reveal the building and give the illusion that the drone was much higher than 100 metres, and finally the video clips themselves.

For audio we also had a multitude of different layers, including audio that was captured onsite and a soundscape of wind howling for the aerial shots (because trust us, you don't want a microphone onboard a drone), additional layers to the sound design included fire sound effects and audio for the hoses in action.

Had some great feedback from Delta Fire who have been using the video we produced for them at exhibitions and events. We...

Had some great feedback from Delta Fire who have been using the video we produced for them at exhibitions and events. We love it when the videos we create has a profound impact on a business, which is exactly why we take pride in making videos that represent businesses in a way that is professional, authentic and get their message across in the boldest way possible.

26/09/2022

We were asked to put together a video showcasing the new site for Delta Fire. With a client of this magnitude we wanted to show their state-of-the-art equipment, facility and capture this in a video that has high production value from aerial and ground shots.
