We've all heard that 'motto' right? It actually applies incredibly well to branding, sales and marketing...
You = The business and brand
Leading = The 'advertising'
The Horse = The potential customer
Water = The product
If you don't LOOK appealing to the horse, no amount of 'LEADING' is going to make it follow you, if your method of LEADING isn't right you're going to lose the horse shortly after it lays eyes on you, and you can LEAD the horse all the way to the water, but if it doesn't want it or like the look of it... it isn't drinking it... following?
In more literal terms, if your brand/branding isn't right, no amount of advertising is going to work, if your advertising methods aren't right, no amount of it is going to work, and if your product isn't right no amount of traffic will increase sales.
Which 'hurdle' are you falling at? (Sorry, bad joke 🏇), don't know?
