Cover design for The Dartfordian issue 90, Dartford Grammar School’s yearly magazine. I wanted a way to involve the entire school so I applied the five House colours in the negative spaces around a large 90 set in Merwede Bold, a fantastic new font I am using in a book celebrating 450 years of the school. The publishing date is June 2026.

Every year I design an exhibition stand and usually a short video reel for my client SVS for its lead sponsorship of the Gift Card and Voucher Association annual conference, showcasing SVS’s work as the leading global gift card provider. It’s A-list of clients includes M&S, John Lewis Partnership, adidas and H&M, among many others.

Annual Review 2025 for Constructing Excellence Midlands.

I designed a Parliamentary Briefing Paper, presented to MPs at a lunch in the House of Commons, to simply and directly encourage government to build more homes, more quickly. They know there’s a blockage in the planning system and this proposal aims to demonstrate how to speed up the process.

The proposal is for a pilot project to set up an Advisory Board of industry professionals to oversee and manage a home building project on a demonstration site, under the leadership of Constructing Excellence Midlands and the West Midlands Combined Authority.

Our 24 page document spelled out the problem, the ask, the proposal and some existing case studies of how this project could work. Hoping for approval shortly. It was a great honour to have my work being presented at the heart of government in the UK.

I’ve produced another report for Parliament in the democracy reform sector, which will be released on here when the embargo is lifted.

CALLING ALL FORMER DGS BOYS

A book I’m designing for my old school. It’s the school’s quotation, not ours. And yes, there will be a chapter on former pupil Mick Jagger, as well as a full history dating back to 1576 including uniform, war-time, sport and academic excellence. If you’d like a fuller PDF, which also calls for sponsorship in return for recognition in the book, please let me know.

Helping organisations to celebrate anniversaries is becoming a bigger part of what we do, so if you have one coming up in the next couple of years please make contact. We have many other projects, both large and small, that we can show you for UNESCO / Botswana Tourism, London 2012 Olympics and HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee, for example.

Please come to the at various venues around Newbridge, Bath on 17-18 May if you can. There are about 30 different artists to enjoy, from painters to printmakers, jewellers to bookbinders, photographers and even little old lettering artists like me! This is a spiral bound 78 page book of selected digital lettering designs from the last 30 years under my brand ‘Founts of Knowledge’ which complements my letterpress designs I’ve been printing during the last six months at … who I am very happy to announce have agreed to come on board the Trail for the very first time!

These are my graphics for Botswana Tourism at ITB Berlin 2025 this week. Hard to show what 120sqm of graphics looks like but hope this gives you an idea. My images and typography covered the central 2 storey booth, the 12 metre long back wall, a video reel for the LED screen, 30 exhibitor desk images and logos, a map on an easel and hanging woven reed baskets.
