Lucy Alice Designs Hello & welcome to Lucy Alice Designs! SHOP : https://www.etsy.com/shop/LucyAliceShop Hello! Im Lucy & I am designer maker based in Kent.

I launched my range in September 2012 after completing a textiles design degree at Bucks New Uni. My collection is inspired by British wildlife in urban areas. Full of geometric patterns, texture & character, it is a collection of unique & contemporary products that bring humour, colour and conversation to you and your home. All the pieces are designed and made in my little Kent studio using reclaimed materials and UK suppliers wherever possible. Contact me on: [email protected]

We are so proud of Milo and Tommy, who came up with this wonderful idea all by themselves! ❤️
They’ll be taking on a festive challenge, cycling from Unit 1 in Hythe to Seabrook and back (apx 5 miles) dressed as Santa and an Elf, singing Christmas songs along the way 🎶✨
They’re doing this to raise money for King’s College Hospital, a cause very close to our hearts. One of Tommy and Milo’s best friends had a serious BMX accident recently and spent time in King’s College Hospital. We are so thankful for the amazing care, quick response, and even the fun and comfort he had while gaming during his recovery 💙
Tommy and Milo wanted to give something back to help support the incredible work the hospital does for children and families every day.
If you’d like to support their festive ride and spread a little Christmas cheer, please donate to our JustGiving page, every bit helps! 🙏✨ (

A little life update : 🍂 🎃 🌅
I have always believed in the magic of making, how doing something with your hands can calm the mind and help you feel more you. 💛
Alongside stocking up with Autumnal pieces (still so proud of this!), I’ve started studying Occupational Therapy! It’s all about helping people do the things that make life meaningful.
It’s definitely a juggle, between making, textbooks, and family life but I love how both sides feed into each other 💫

Most of the jewellery in store is ether a one off, a limited edition or designs that will never be made again so be quick! The perfect time to bag a unique gift for Christmas!
I am busy making loads of jewellery and clearing out my studio in preparation for more streamlined seasonal collections going forward! 🌟

// 2025 //

I’m finally out of hibernation!

2025 is going to be a year of big change! Lucy Alice designs isn’t going anywhere however I will be prioritising and streamlining the business so that I can focus on other projects and life goals!

One of my main focuses this year will be to continue to work with the lovely retail team at the National Trust in Kent & Sussex, developing more seasonal ranges and exclusive products.
Moreover one thing I am moving away from is selling online, it’s never been that successful for me and it’s always seemed like more admin work for little return, I honestly take me hats off to all you online shop pros I just don’t have the patience 🫶🏻

I am hoping to make limited runs of jewellery and pop them online via social media for purchasing throughout the year as well as attending a selected number of markets. I will also still be selling my jewellery within the shop. I have lots of lovely pieces sat in my studio ready to be assembled so I’m hoping to get busy making all of that and making it available to you all as part of ‘online market nights’ and the once they all have loving homes I can focus on some smaller and more focused seasonal collections.

Greetings cards will still be available at and and markets throughout the year.

Running a business should be about what works for you and brings you joy, I have been running Lucy Alice for almost 13 years and I’ve learnt that there is no one size fits all business model. What I love about running a business is its ability to mould and fit you as you and your life changes and I’m very grateful that this business has seen me through some very difficult and dark times but now it’s time to change again and adapt Lucy Alice to fit my new goals for the future!

Watch this space ✨

Thank you for sticking around!

Lucy ###

P.s I won’t promise to being present on social media lots this year as I’am simply the queen of procrastination and one post on instagram ends up taking up half my day 😅🫠😘

Hello 2025 ☀️🥶
A very slow & steady start to the year.
After 13 years in the game I know a slow reflective January is always needed.
A time to purchase a new notebook, file the tax return, catch up with my accounts, tidy the studio, look back at what triumphed and what flopped in the previous year, make a rough plan for the year, book a holiday, turn another year older, eat well, get outside in the winter sun and spend as much time as I can drinking coffee under a blanket with my cats!
January is actually one of my favourite months, what a blooming weirdo! Anyway however you are spending your January, be kind to yourself, remember most of the animals are still busy hibernating after all ☺️

It’s that time again!!
If you don’t hear from me in a few weeks you will find me buried under boxes, jewellery and cards in my studio. I’m on full on Christmas elf making mode!
Last Christmas consisted of me being very poorly so this year I pre emptied the burn out by taking last week off and it was so lovely 🥰 and now I am soooo ready (not at all ready) for the festive season!
See you on the other side 🫠 🌟

Do you have any children's coats that you're no longer using but are in good condition?

With temperatures in Moldova reaching as cold as -15c this winter and with no heating, and often little clothing, your donation of one coat could make an enormous difference.

Hope4 are a charity very close to our hearts here at Fishers, with Director Katie climbing Kilimanjaro to fundraise for them in January (she and the team she climbed with raised a stonking £56k for them!)

With your help, we could keep 1000 children warm this winter!

If you're having a clear out this Half Term (or need a reason to de-clutter!) please consider donating a winter coat and making a huge difference to a child this Christmas.

Donations can be posted to;

Thank you 🙏🏻
