Three Words for Forest is a play which draws on interviews with forestry specialists. It explores the challenges, complexities, hopes and fears of working with trees and forests in a time of climate crisis.

This week we launched a new website for The National Poetry Centre. https://nationalpoetrycentre.org.uk/

The National Poetry Centre provides a national home for poetry in the UK – connecting people from all backgrounds and cultures to poetry.

As the national headquarters for the artform, the centre will be a hub for poetry awards, events, major performances, exhibitions, workshops, open-mic nights, a library, collections and archives: a gathering place for everyone seeking new ways to express their thoughts and feelings in written and spoken words.

Founded by the Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage, the centre is transforming the iconic Trinity St David’s building in the heart of Leeds into a world-class cultural facility celebrating poets and poetry in all its forms.

We designed and built a new website with the brilliant Forward Leeds. Recovery in Leeds provides information on drug & alcohol free social gatherings and places of support in the Leeds area.

A new one-stop website for people who have faced issues with alcohol and drugs has been launched in Leeds.

RecoveryinLeeds aims to offer comprehensive information to help people maintain abstinence and thrive in their recovery.

The website was developed through 5 WAYS as a collaborative venture, with people able to suggest venues, events and activities to be added.

Lead practitioner Matt Whitton said: “The creation of RecoveryinLeeds recognises the importance of community and connection in staying abstinent.

“Stopping using drugs or alcohol is really tough, but so is staying stopped. This site will provide a wealth of options and inspiration for people.”

We designed and built a new website for CCScotland. As with all our sites, we focused on sustainability and accessibility from the outset of the process. We collaborated closely with the Culture for Climate team to deliver a thoughtful user experience and clear information architecture, enabling visitors to find information and complete tasks as quickly as possible. We crafted bespoke web design and development from the ground up. Our streamlined, clean code and optimised images ensure low site load and fast speeds. A fast website consumes less energy. The website underwent rigorous testing to ensure it was accessible to everyone, including visitors with assistive technology.

We are delighted that the website scores A+ on Website Carbon Calculator. The site is cleaner than 92% of all web pages globally.
