→ Some news! Lincoln & London, it's good to be back…

The world has changed so much in recent years and so has our way of working. With a team working collaboratively from all corners of the UK, we have always benefited from remote working and our definition of a workplace has always been a little different.

Having explored a number of workspace options since leaving our previous studio, it is pleasing to have a new dedicated workplace in Lincoln once again at Mosaic – a building that holds a significant amount of sentiment for us when it comes to design. In addition, we have a new London-based workspace which we are excited to announce officially in the coming weeks.

It's great to be back in Lincoln more regularly and with a growing number of clients from all around the world, our soon-to-be announced workspace in London will really help to strengthen our ties in the capital and beyond.

As we settle in to the new year, attention turns to one of our busiest periods ahead of this year’s annual report season. Here’s a look at some of our report designs from recent years for London-based Tideway.

The Tideway project is an incredible one, building a new 25km Tunnel under the River Thames, cleaning up the river for the good of the city, its wildlife and residents whilst also providing thousands of jobs, a rejuvenated river economy and new public spaces across the Capital.

What a year! We’re not quite done yet but wanted to take this opportunity to say Merry Christmas to all of our friends, clients and followers.

Studio Optic will be taking a break from Wednesday 22/12, returning on 04/01. In the meantime, here’s to a great Christmas and some well deserved fun, food & family time.

Ahead of the new year, we're delighted to share our new branding and updated website: studio-optic.co.uk

As our business has grown, so too have our services, ensuring our output remains consistent in both style and quality. Combining our services has proved to be a successful way of tailoring our projects to provide relevant creative marketing and is something we will be doing more of throughout the new year.

To reflect our full-service offering, our new branding simplifies all of this. Whether it's branding, design, video production or a mix of all, we view our services as one collective output. The 'O' of Optic links all of this together, serving as a recognisable mark that can be used to showcase us and our work.

We've got big plans for 2022 and building on the success of this year, we can't wait to get started!

Our work for Festool showcases the unique benefits of their growing range of power tools and their expansion into new markets such as the paint industry. Alongside a regular stream of video content, our services demonstrate how Festool are leading the way when it comes to cutting-edge power tool technology.

From brochure design and in-store posters to creative product launches and instructional content for the brand's online and social channels, our work with Festool remains ongoing.

NEW WORK: A new brand identity design for Suffolk-based Thirty-One Architecture.

We designed a clean, modern and minimalist identity for the business, focusing on aspects that echo their output.

The logo is versatile, with a range of layouts designed to suit varying formats and environments. Tally-style blocks shown as supporting pillars represent the numbers within the brand name.

NEW WORK: We recently provided Solid People – an East Midlands-based team of specialists providing CAD recruitment, software, training and consultancy services – with a new brand identity design, using abstract shapes and configurations inspired by the output of CAD.

NEW: A new brand identity design for TAUT® – a new clothing brand targeting a niche area within the menswear market coming soon.

We were asked to deliver a modern, minimal and monochrome brand. We supplied designs for the logo, supporting identity pack and relevant brand applications including labels, packaging and marketing proposals.

NEW: We recently had the pleasure of working with Adarga & British Army to produce the designs and imagery for the 2020 Hackathon: a partnered event exploring new ways to solve the real-world challenge of ending illegal poaching.

Adarga provide organisations with powerful AI analytics technology that helps to analyse disparate data across a range of key sectors. Our work with Adarga is ongoing, with a number of new and exciting projects in the works.
