This past Bank Holiday weekend, Lee and Ellie were out in the sunshine at the raising awareness and encouraging long-term support for 🤲

Their stand featured a set of playing cards designed to challenge common misconceptions about prostate cancer, helping educate visitors about the UK’s most commonly diagnosed cancer. 🃏

Awareness matters. 💪🏼
Open conversations about men’s health, and getting
checked early, can genuinely save lives. The power of conversation is what motivates Lee and Ellie in their fundraising efforts, alongside the rest of our fundraising team. Every long-term donation helps fund vital research and provide support for those affected by prostate cancer.

Mental Health Awareness Week 🧘‍♀️🍓☕️

The team enjoyed a restorative and nourishing week at the office. Centred around this year’s theme of “Action” we focused on creating meaningful moments that promoted positive mental health in practical and engaging ways.

The team participated in mindful, tactile activities, including mandala colouring sessions - a simple but effective way to reduce stress, encourage focus and create space for calm. We also enjoyed a relaxing yoga session led by Joyce from , helping everyone to reset both mentally and physically. To continue the morning, everyone was treated to a nourishing selection of pressed juices, fresh fruit, bars and protein granola pots.

Later in the week, we kept it going with a variety of healthy refreshments, including healthy coffee from , Kombucha, fresh fruit and nuts as a brain-boosting snack as well as a conscious treat of peanut butter buttons from .

We prioritise creating an environment where people feel supported, valued and able to prioritise their wellbeing, not only during this awareness week, but every day of the year with our ongoing mental health support initiative. 💪

Back in March, we had our annual strategy update - a particularly exciting moment as we launched our new three-year strategy termed Next Horizon. ✈️

Inspired by a symbolic journey to Singapore, the event focused on where we are today and where we want to go next.

More than anything, the event was about connection and camaraderie, bringing colleagues together, welcoming team members into our culture and vision, and reinforcing the shared purpose that drives us forward. 💪

Our Volunteering Initiative is one of the ways we encourage our team members to put our values into action. Supporting others is at the heart of everything we do at TPF, which is why every team member is given the opportunity each year to dedicate their time to causes that matter most to them. 💌

This morning, our People Coordinator, Rebecca, spent time at Oak Manor Care Home in sunny Shefford helping to tidy the gardens and bring a touch of Spring to the residents’ outdoor spaces. ☀️🌸

Oak Manor, part of the not-for-profit organisation MHA, provides trusted, high-quality care and support services that enrich the lives of older people, including specialist dementia care.

A big thank you to Rebecca for devoting her time and representing TPF with care and compassion. We’re proud to support initiatives that make a meaningful difference in our communities and look forward to continuing our volunteering efforts throughout the year. 💪
