We were thrilled to take part in the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Destination Brand & Narrative Workshop yesterday at Huntingdon Town Hall. It was great to meet so many people who are passionate about the area and to help shape the future direction of the region.

The geek, environmentalist and typography fan in us is loving this.

The team at NASA has created a fun tool that lets you spell out your name using satellite images of Earth. It’s called Landsat, and the images come from a vast archive that spans over 50 years of observations.

The Landsat program is a long-running series of Earth-observing satellites, jointly operated by NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

We spent Tuesday evening in Cambridge listening to design legend Neville Brody reflect on his career, his work, and his thoughts on the future—what an honour. Both David and I own books on his work, so meeting him, saying hello, and having him sign one felt like a dream come true. Huge thanks to CamCreatives and the Cambridge Festival for hosting such a brilliant event.

We were incredibly proud to take part in last night’s Stakeholder Workshop launching Huntingdon’s bid to become the first Town of Culture in 2028.

Held at the Town Hall, the event brought together Huntingdon’s vibrant creative community to explore the town’s unique strengths and discuss how achieving Town of Culture status could benefit everyone who lives and works here. A key theme that emerged time and again was the importance of our people and our diverse communities, and the powerful role culture can play in supporting and inspiring the next generation.

Next up is some literature for Calibre Climate.

We have produced several brochures for them, including this installation brochure, which showcases the company and highlights some of its most notable projects.

Designed as a concise, high-impact brand touchpoint. Our goal was to distil complex climate and sustainability expertise into a clear, engaging narrative that feels confident, credible, and future-focused.

AVIDD Design developed a clean, structured layout that balances clarity with sophistication. Thoughtful typography, disciplined white space, and a refined colour palette work together to support readability while reinforcing Calibre Climate’s authority in the sector. The brochure content is organised to guide the reader seamlessly through Calibre Climate’s services, values, and capabilities without overwhelming them.

More than a takeaway, the brochure functions as a strategic brand asset—reinforcing trust, professionalism, and long-term commitment to climate-positive outcomes. The result is a tactile, purposeful piece that communicates Calibre Climate’s expertise with confidence and clarity.

We thought we’d kick off the New Year by sharing some recent work.

One of the first projects we completed for Calibre Climate was a new set of business cards for the team. The clever fold allows the card to slot neatly into a brochure page, creating a compact, well-presented takeaway for potential clients.
