In addition to the work attached to my welcome post, here’s an animated logo I designed for a toy company called Zappies.
Zappies, a dynamic and fast-growing toy distributor based in West Sussex, sought a fresh logo and brand identity to coincide with the launch of their new line of own-brand toys. They recognised the necessity of updating their branding to ensure its visibility and recognition on toy packaging, as well as its adaptability for television advertisements and online platforms.
Considering the brand's requirement for seamless integration across both print and digital media, I devised a logo with animated capabilities. In the animated version, the letters come to life as bouncing shapes or endearing characters. For instance, the letter 'p' takes the form of a delightful character blowing bubble gum, while the letter 'i' becomes a lively figure dancing beneath a disco ball. This animation style perfectly complements their brand, exuding a sense of fun, memorability, and modernity. Moreover, the animated logo possesses the versatility to captivate audiences across various digital mediums, including television, video, and the web.
To maintain continuity and prevent alienating their existing customer base, we preserved Zappies' brand colours of pink, grey, and white. These hues harmoniously blend with their industry while ensuring the brand remains recognisable. By striking this balance, we were able to update their branding without rendering it unidentifiable.
To create a cohesive brand, I designed a static version of their logo for use across their printed marketing material as well as a version to be used online, ensuring consistency across their digital media platforms.
I also updated their branded stationery to help create Zappies a unified brand identity. Zappies are delighted with their updated branding.
