'What's on my mind' Facebook says. Regarding website design that's easy. Affordable Accessibility and future proofing. There's a lot of things going on with Z Media in 2025 but Accessibility is not a new topic. What is new is being able to tackle the subject from an affordable stance. Silktide is a very well respected auditor of whether a website is Accessible and at what level. Z Media are making the AA standard available to non profits on low budgets.
Future proofing is at best a stab at technology that will probably hold good for the next three years. After that is anyone's guess. To that end I have chosen a small set of tools that I review at least twice a year.
WordPress still stands up as the worlds best website platform. Its pagebuilder, Gutenberg, is arguably still a work in progress.
To that end I build websites that can accomodate the latest block building methods or the best and easiest drag and drop page builder: Beaver Builder.
They can both be easily made AA accessible and this approach allows your staff to choose which method is easiest for them.
Of course I will still do any of the work that your website needs if you're not in a place that accomodates 100% self management.

As far as the 'I' and 'we' situation: I have a small group of trusted specialists that I can call on for various projects. In the main website work will be just me. If you are a non profit with a good cause maybe we can work together?
