I absolutely love seeing the next generation develop a passion for reading, and I know that the transition to “big school” can feel like a huge step for many children.
My good friend, Rachel Inman has written a lovely book called Marty the Meerkat Goes to School. It’s a gentle, beautifully written rhyming story that follows Marty as he overcomes his worries about starting school. 📚
Through Loyal Studio, I’ve donated five copies to Lytchett Matravers Preschool so they can be shared with the children in their key groups as the next cohort prepares for their exciting move to school this September. ✏️
I hope the stories help spark plenty of conversations, build confidence, and remind little ones that it’s perfectly normal to feel a little nervous about new adventures. 😊
