Title: The Baboons Stole Our Car

We went to Knowsley Safari Park for a nice family day out.

Then we drove through the baboon enclosure.

Five minutes later, the car was basically a chassis with seats.

Slight exaggeration. But only slight.

We had a great day

There’s something incredibly satisfying about making ice cream from scratch.

This one starts with a rich homemade custard, slowly cooked before being frozen overnight. Then it’s into the Ninja Creami, where a quick re-spin with a splash of milk transforms it into the smoothest, creamiest ice cream.

Finished with a Flake and handed straight to my toughest critic… Blossom. Safe to say it got her approval. 🍦

I took my well-used Sony A7 III over to Van after the shutter finally failed.

To be fair, the camera had earned its keep. It was missing the eyecup, looking a bit grubby and definitely showing the signs of a busy working life.

Just 48 hours later, it was back with a brand-new shutter, new bezel, new eyecup and looking unbelievably clean.

It honestly feels like a new camera again. Fantastic service and a brilliant turnaround. Thanks, Van!
