This year, I have the pleasure of designing & painting Christmas Windows throughout the North West, UK. ✨

Yesterday, I started at with paints provided by 🥹

The brief, all white, full on festive with relatable signs/landmarks through the cities. Here you’ll see Wallace & Gromit & by request of the GM of Preston, the Proud Preston Badge.

Anyone else feel like the new year still has that school year vibe? Like, we’re halfway through the work year, and the real new year kicks off in September? Just me? 😅

On Wednesday I had the best experience creating Christmas Window art for 🎅

Every year post on their socials for local window artists to get involved with designing their Christmas Windows for their theme of “Fizz the Season” and I was chosen! 🥂

Here’s a little reminder for anyone who needs it: never give up.

Remember how hard you’ve worked to get to this point—think back to where you started, those early days when the dream seemed distant, and every step felt like a mountain. You've overcome challenges, learned hard lessons, and grown stronger with each setback. You didn’t come this far just to stop now. Keep going, trust in the journey, and let your progress remind you of your strength. The road may be long, but you’re building something amazing, step by step.

Never did I think in 2019 that my business as a solo graphic designer would take off to be where I am today. I am so grateful for never giving up on myself, for the set backs, the design block and most importantly for believing in myself.

So here's a little snapshot of me, by Oldham Council, designing chalkboards for an amazing new business, The Egyptian Room. From start to finish, creating all the brand logos, social media templates, sign writing for 6 different food vendors on 8ft chalkboards. ✌

HOW TO REFINE YOUR BRAND STORY ✨

3. Your Values:
What principles guide your business? (e.g., innovation, sustainability, community)
4. Your Unique Selling Proposition:
What sets you apart from competitors? What makes your business stand out in your industry?
5. Your Story Origins:
How did your business start? What inspired you to begin this journey?

Using your brand story effectively is a powerful tool for building connections with your audience, fostering trust, and differentiating your business from competitors. A compelling brand story gives your brand personality, makes it memorable, and aligns your values with your customers' needs. Use it to connect emotionally, differentiate yourself, and build trust across all your touchpoints.

I chose Alice at Cheshire Design Projects to create my logo, branding, business sign and business cards for my new dog grooming business and I’m so glad I did.
Nothing was too much trouble for Alice during the design process and her communication was excellent.

I wanted a bold, fun but professional feel to my dog grooming business and Alice has nailed it! I am so pleased with my final designs and many of my customers have commented on how good my business cards look.
