A reflection from Lisajane

I have been asked many times, who I would be and what I would do if nothing could stop you? I realise that it is only the introduction of the darker side of social media that anything has ever held me back in the past. I always just 'went for it' before and I think that is the best way to be.

Now, more than ever, is the time to start putting some of the wheels in motion to make that happen or to begin asking yourself who you are going to be next if you have lost everything? The world will not stop turning and we all have to -

Reflect - Remind - Reevaluate - Reinvest or to Reinvent.
Reflect - on your current situation
Remind - yourself of all you have achieved. What you loved nut more so what you hated
Reevaluate - where are you going from here
Reinvest - in a business that can run the course and shoulder the storm
or
Reinvent - do that thing that nothing can stop you doing because you are right back at the beginning

I am reminded of all of the challenging sales positions that I have smashed in the past, the potential poison chalices (as one boss noted when I took over and turned around another failing sales team), hitting targets, making million $ profits, nurturing talent and delivering consistently. At this moment I am reminded where my passion lies and that is leading a team to success, business development and growth.

Whilst my brands may have to pause for now I am open to helping professional SME or Global corps to develop their next growth and sales strategies. The last time the world seemed magical.
The last time you wrote down your dreams.
How it felt when you were surprised by a simple pleasure.
These are the kinds of things that we like to journal each morning and find that it makes even the hardest day feel just a little bit better.

Coronavirus - Media office hours

The Financial Times and Condé Nast Britain are amongst publishers temporarily closing their offices to support efforts to slow the spread of coronavirus, Covid-19. Reach plc has also implemented working from home regulations, affecting publications including the Mirror, Express and Star. In addition, SheerLuxe.com has announced on its Instagram account that staff will be working remotely; and Hearst UK has released a statement advising its employees to work from home for the remainder of March.

As the government enters the 'delay phase' of the Coronavirus Action Plan it can be expected that more media title staff will be working from home more frequently.

If you are planning to send items to media title staff by mail / courier / delivery, please check with the individual first for the best postal address.
