Next weekend we are gathering at Heart of the Rose in Kent, and a group of six women artists The Heart Space | Female Artist collective are building and curating an art gallery together…

What a magical moment, what a weave of different mediums and approaches, it’s what this linocut piece that I made earlier this year represents and I hope it reflects the deep power of coming together. In physical presence and in mind too.

I’m so excited for something that has been talked about for months to come to reality and spend time celebrating creativity in all its forms on gorgeous land…

Pure linoprint onto brown paper… inspired by how much people have loved the hand printed sketchbooks where I print straight onto the Kraft card cover… they’re so beautiful.

These are now listed on my shop 🩵

This is a piece to honour the union we create with ourselves, a relationship that requires nurturing, care, boundaries and devotion, like any other. Our bedrock, our foundations, our values, our true nature… it’s all evolved and tended to within this self marriage.

Not for the faint of heart, and yet ironically for EVERYONE, it’s the most consistent thing any of us will ever navigate as we live this human life.

May this piece be our reminder to step towards what feels nourishing, to talk to ourselves with grace & humility, and that we have the power to be our greatest advocates in this life.

next Tuesday we’re coming together for the evening with Networking and the theme of connect, finding those quiet spaces within and without, that allow us to tap into our own rich network of wisdom and magic.

It’s £7 to be there and they’re always insightful and unexpected in different ways… There will be ways to interact with the calendar pages next year within community, but it will likely be a bit different to these gatherings, so if you’ve been meaning to join, book in for one of the last 4 now…

The Muddy Hag is rising up and bringing her magic, as all of us do, from our own unique concoctions of mud and confusion and conditioning and limiting beliefs, bringing the riches and the insights and the deep innate knowing.

This very special one, number 22 of 25 of the edition, has been wrapped in a frame gold leafed by hand, and a selection of the others are now lovingly wrapped with backing board to come to Heart of the Rose in The Heart Space gallery that we’re building there.

It is a limited edition of 25 prints and there can never be more in this way as she is a reduction print.
These originals are ÂŁ75
And with the gold leafed frame, ÂŁ120
Postcards are already here too and available to buy direct from me until I list them - eek so exciting.

I’ve created three altar displays from the peacock feathers that the male peacock on this land gifts me… I’ve been feeding him every day and often ask him… oooh, one of those striped ones today would be lovely… and then I’ll wander back down and there’s been one left for me somewhere.

They’re set in candle wax in a jar adorned with the Blessed Yoni and her intention that the deep wisdom may never be forgotten again.

May we take up space in our own wild unruly ways so much that it’s never possible for us to be diminished again.

They’re ready for Heart of the Rose and will be priced at £40… if you need to claim one before they’re released into the fest, let me know…

Y O U A R E T H E A R T

Yes you and you and you and me and them and each and every one of us

Being in festival fields with you all this summer has solidified this for me….

The art we make in any form is an expression of us, of our humanness, just a little snippet of the hugeness of what we are. So really, the art is just a beautiful by-product of the true MAGIC, JUICINESS and VIBRANCY of the living ART that is being ALIVE. Living is an art, my loves.

When we’re drawn to pieces of art it’s our human natures resonating and connecting with each other. My art sees your art, and vice versa.

It’s been so beautiful to meet so many of you, and these photos bring me so much joy; I love having them to remember magic moments.

There’s one last festival Heart of the Rose
