We’re setting up here at the The Fickle Pickle in Southend to film a promo for Glitterball Productions and their Simply Red tribute band with a 7 camera shoot.

We love it when a job comes right out of the blue and we get to meet some lovely creative people in the process. On Friday we took a call from Deborah at Glitterball Productions who was promoting a new function band called Blue Skyz and needed a replacement videographer in 2 days. We stepped into the breach and on the Sunday we were doing a multi camera shoot, which included aerial filming, at Heath Hollow Hideaway, a gem of a place nestled in the Essex countryside near Colchester (see hollow_heath_hideaway on Instagram). We went back to Sadler's Wells yesterday to film the latest fantastic show from Theatretrain called Once Upon a Time with a 4 camera shoot. It's always a pleasure and a privilege to capture vibrant and enthusiastic performances in an innovative production at an iconic London venue

We were delighted to be back filming 3 shows for Babyballet East Herts and West Essex at South Mill Arts centre in Bishops Stortford. What better way to spend a day than with Twinkle & Teddy, Grandad Jack, Flutterstar the Fairy and Chuck the Cowboy. Lot's of proud parents watching their little ones perform on stage and we were there to capture their performances for them to treasure forever. Check out classes near you for those aged 6 months to 6 years.

This was a lovely commission to film a Highland Dance show at the Metropolitan Police Sports & Events Club ballroom near Watford for the New Strathspey School of Dancing run by Sandy Hunt, which is part of the Dance Scottish Herts and Borders RSCDS Branch. We had the whole thing covered with a 6 camera setup that included a roving camera on a gimball. It was their 45 year celebration with a selection of traditional and choreographed dances, with participants of all ages dressed in tartan, kilts and being accompanied by the bagpipes

We had the pleasure of filming the annual Theatretrain Clacton show at the West Cliff Theatre Clacton for the 12th year running. It was a vibrant Summer show and the young performers did a great job in bringing it to life with their singing, dancing and acting. Also thanks to Keith Harris for his superb lighting design as usual.

It was back to The Princes Theatre in Clacton to film the Dance House Academy Next Step 2022 show yesterday. We look forward to editing those great performances, well done to everyone who took to the stage and Lisa & her team for making it happen.
