This time last year we said goodbye to my Mum. She loved flowers - she always had a vase of fresh flowers in the lounge. Tulips, freesias, snowdrops and cornflowers were her favourites but she couldn’t be happier from the spring when the garden started blooming for the next few months that followed.
Not everybody’s taste for a funeral but she would’ve absolutely loved her Order of Service tribute. The photos of the flowers were all taken by my Dad from their garden and when they went to see the tulips in Amsterdam.

My Dad supported Charlton his whole life from the time his Dad took him when he was just 8 years old. When his time came, we had to have Charlton Athletic FC featured at his funeral. The bearers wore red and white scarves and the end of his casket was engraved as the Charlton badge - what an honour. A lot of the flowers were red and white too. We chose the The London Taxi Charity for Children who support disadvantaged children for donations and raised nearly £1k for them. The sun shone on the day and Dad’s goodbye was very well attended.

Recently, we said goodbye to a very special friend. A neighbour who set the world alight for all those who knew her. For her funeral, we put together a 16-page order of service, packed with pictures and memories, and a 50-slide Powerpoint slideshow that was beautifully presented at the wake. Recently, we said goodbye to a very dear Uncle and Godfather, John. Daren created the whole Order of Service and what a tribute it was. The priest was blown away at all the previous memories inside and even at one point in the service played music so we could look through this beautiful booklet crammed with photographs and remember all the good times spent together. Uncle John was a keen photographer and gardener. The faded photos on the background of this beautiful masterpiece are photos of Uncle John’s flowers - such a personal touch. 💜

We are very sorry for your loss. At this unprecedented time it is comforting to know that we are still able to say goodbye to our loved ones, albeit with limited numbers.
