Why MERX Marketing Ltd was named MERX:
I recently found this old French “Bon pour 2 Francs” coin from 1924, issued through the ‘Chambres de Commerce de France’.
Although it may simply look like a historic coin, it immediately connected back to the reason why Merx Marketing was called Merx.
🔱 The name Merx was inspired by Mercury, the Roman god associated with commerce, communication, messages, eloquence, movement and connection. In Roman mythology, Mercury was known as the messenger between worlds. Fast, articulate and purposeful.
That idea has always sat at the heart of what we do, or aspire to. 🙏🏻
