It was time for a refresh. ✨

Charlotte and I started working together nearly 10 years ago, and social media marketing looked very different back then. Our website needed to catch up with where we actually are now.

Over the last decade, what we do for our clients has grown far beyond social media. We still do all the content creation and management you'd expect; but we also help with website edits, newsletters, blogs, graphic design, and video editing. Basically, if it's marketing, we're probably already doing it for someone.

We love being that one point of contact for our clients.

If you need a hand with any of the above (or something we haven't listed), come and say hello. We'd love to help.

7 boys from Devizes School are fundraising for a trip to Borneo, where they will be volunteering in local communities and completing a trek through the jungle.

Lots of amazing local businesses have generously donated prizes for us to auction off. Please have a look through and see if there’s anything you’d like to bid on!

One of the prizes is 3 hours of my time!!

Thank you for your support, if you’d like to donate a prize, please get in touch.

Message me if you'd like the link.

There’s still a myth floating around that using a social media scheduler will harm your reach.

Using a scheduler can make a huge difference in a positive way.

It allows you to plan ahead, stay consistent, and organise your content without the daily pressure of “what should I post today?” That alone often leads to better quality, more strategic content.

Meta has its own built-in scheduler within Business Suite, which is a great starting point. The only limitation is that you can typically only schedule around a month in advance.

For more flexibility, we use Metricool, and we love it. It gives a clear overview of all content, allows for longer-term planning, and keeps everything in one place.

If you’re not using trial Reels, you could be missing a huge opportunity to reach new people.

One of the biggest challenges with social media is getting your content in front of fresh eyes, not just the same audience who already follow you.

Trial reels let you test your content with a wider audience without relying solely on your existing followers. Which means you can experiment more, learn faster, and see what actually resonates.

All you need to do is toggle the trail option when you're creating a reel.

Remember to check the insights a couple of days later!

Last year, Charlotte took on the Forces Wives Challenge Yorkshire Three Peaks. She’s now been selected for their incredible 2026 expedition to Sweden 🇸🇪

In September 2026, FWC will take two teams of 12 women on a six-day, five-night wilderness canoe journey along the breathtaking Hårkan River near Östersund. Covering 60 kilometres of open water, the expedition will introduce traditional canoe paddling and bushcraft skills as the team travel between riverside camps, sleeping in tents, hammocks or bivvies and cooking over open fires.

The mission of Forces Wives Challenge is simple and powerful: to inspire women everywhere to believe that together we can achieve anything. Charlotte is absolutely loving every moment of the adventure, the friendships and the personal growth that come with being part of such an awesome community.

If you’ve got blogs gathering dust on your website, we can help 👀✨

Those posts you wrote a few years ago? They’re still full of valuable insight, they just need a little refresh to start working hard for you again.

We’ve recently been helping clients review their blog libraries, updating images, tags, keywords and meta descriptions, then turning them into fresh social posts to bring them back into the spotlight.

So many businesses are sitting on a goldmine of helpful content… and their audience never sees it.

A simple update can boost SEO, improve visibility and give you weeks of ready-made content to share 🙌

Before you write something brand new, ask yourself:
Could one of your existing blogs be refreshed and reused?

Your past content still has plenty to give 💛

3-Video
Why it's useful:

👉 Videos often get higher reach and engagement
👉 Helps people connect with the human behind the business

Do you use LinkedIn regularly?

I'm a little bit keen on my OS app and like finding new paths to walk.

We get it, AI is tempting and fast. We use it all day too. But over-relying on AI can make your content sound… well, a bit “samey.” Certain patterns, phrasing, and structures can signal to readers (and even algorithms) that it’s AI-generated.

Here’s how to remove those traces and make content feel truly human:

👉 Add your unique voice:
Inject your own tone, humor, and style. AI often produces neutral, polished language, add personality, anecdotes, or casual phrasing.

👉 Vary sentence structure
AI tends to write in uniform sentence lengths and patterns. Mix short punchy sentences with longer, flowing ones.

👉 Use specific details
AI content can feel vague. Include names, places, numbers, and examples that only you could provide.

👉 Rethink word choice
Replace generic phrases with words or expressions you actually use. Avoid clichés or overly formal constructions that AI favours.

👉 Edit heavily
Read aloud and tweak AI output. Cut unnecessary words, restructure paragraphs, and check that it reads naturally.

👉 Incorporate personal opinions and questions
AI rarely expresses genuine curiosity or subtle opinion. Ask questions, reflect your thoughts, and show your perspective.

👉 Remove double dashes
Replace double dashes (--) with proper punctuation or spacing to make the text read more naturally.

👉 Edit title case
Adjust headings and titles so they follow natural capitalisation rules rather than AI-generated “Title Case” that can look robotic.

Use AI as a starting point, research assistant, or idea generator, but make your content human by editing, adding personality, and including specific details.

If you feel a bit lost or freaked out about AI, we can chat through it and help you make it work for your content.

Another year of fundraising begins!

Zac has signed up for a Camp International adventure to Borneo in summer 2027, and it’s going to be incredible, orangutans, pygmy elephants, trekking, and lots of charity work along the way.

It feels like we’ve only just recovered from the last adventure! Ethan had the most amazing time in Peru, working on four village projects, creating seating, digging ditches, and spending time with local communities, as well as completing the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu.

My boys are incredibly lucky to have these opportunities, and we’re so proud of them.

Zac is now looking for sponsorship, so if you’d like your business logo alongside Two Dandelions on his top, please get in touch 💛
