Anyone who knows me knows that fun is an essential part of my workflow. The ability to play well together is something that works doubly for photography and design.
Here’s why it matters:

A logo is a brand’s signature and strong photography brings it to life. When they work together, they create a look that’s instantly recognisable and resonant.

Whilst uses a laptop, you know her values and humour is consistent with a treasured manual typewriter. See?

A strong cover design in a competitive market is essential to make your book stand out. The brief was to redesign a cover which was white and beautifully crafted, but did not stand out on Amazon, white on white.

The result is a colourful communication offering in the form of retro style speech bubbles (which can be easily rolled out in social media), bold colours, friendly messages and a promise of "Loads of other stuff you really need to know". No scary jargon. And, well... fun!

I LOVE the fonts used by the New Yorker. The headline font is so special with its quirky angled S, cheeky R, delicious W... After the plain and universally overused, dare I say BORING, sans serifs, this is such a pleasure.
