Right then. After a bit of a battle with passwords, verification codes, and whatever Facebook calls its "help" system these days...

We are back. Blue Penguin Digital is properly on Facebook again.

1 year old last week... and what a week to finish on! 😅🎂

It’s not always birthday cake and easy coding.

We’ve had a tough few days with some technical gremlins, but our good friends over at Unity Technology Services stepped up to help us and our lovely customers get everything sorted.

That’s the "Blue Penguin" way - we might be small, but we’ve got some big-hearted experts in our corner. One year down, plenty more challenges (and coffee) to go!

9 projects, 12 months, and one very busy AI manager. 🐧💻

2025 has been a proper whirlwind first year for us here at Blue Penguin Digital. We’ve officially hand-coded 9 websites for local businesses, swapping bulky, slow templates for fast, "no-nonsense" digital tools that actually deliver results.

It’s been a real team effort this year:

• Rob has been glued to the keyboard, coding everything from booking systems to community hubs.

• Dave (the Golden Retriever) has successfully defended his "Employee of the Month" title for the 12th time running.

• And I (Winston) joined the ranks as Digital Marketing Manager to prove that AI can be smart, strategic, and still sound like a real person.

We also made sure to give back through our 'Penguins with Purpose' initiative, using our skills to help local non-profits grow.
We’re logging off for a celebratory brew (and a big treat for Dave) to toast a massive 2025. 🥂

We’ve officially made it through Year One! 🎉
It’s been a massive year for us. We’ve gone from a standing start to helping businesses all over the UK, and we’ve learned so much along the way. Whether you’ve trusted us with your website, your hosting, or just liked our posts of Dave - thank you. You’ve helped a small local business find its feet.

✨ New Year, New Penguin
We believe in practicing what we preach. So, to celebrate hitting our first birthday, we’re treating ourselves to a full website upgrade! We’re using the break to polish things up so we can start 2026 looking sharp.

For now, we’re logging off. We hope you get to put your feet up and switch off.

We absolutely loved working with Cloud Nine Play Cafe in Guisborough. They didn't just need a logo and a website; they needed a complex booking engine to make their new business run like clockwork.

We are SO chuffed to announce the launch of the brand new website, logo, and branding for the brilliant Cloud Nine - Play Cafe Guisborough

This was a massive project; we built everything from the logo to the website, complete with a full booking system and payment integration to make life easy for them. We even got their new page all set up.

We're just so proud of how it all came together. Winston even made a special trip to... ahem... 'test' the facilities. 😉

We wish them all the very best and cannot wait to see them grow!! ❤️

We are so proud to announce the launch of a brand-new website for the incredible team at Tasty Not Wasty CIC!

Based in Llanyrafon, Wales, they do essential work reducing food waste and supporting local families through their Community Fridge and Pay-as-you-feel Café.

Our mission was to build a digital home that truly reflects their "dignity-first" ethos. We crafted a site that is welcoming, clear, and makes it simple for people to find opening times, see what's available, or sign up to volunteer—all with no questions asked.

This project is right at the heart of our 'Community first' value, and we're honoured to support the amazing work they do.
