Todays Speed test , after 1 Month , No drop outs, once i replaced the default router with an ASUS one.

Hard wired Pc, via one switch 891/106
Wi-Fi iPad 496/103, though one wall and two cupboards wood glass concrete which is as expected.
amazon fire tablet first gen , (DONT ASK )

advice , if all your devices are Wi-Fi 6 , speeds over 500 down may not be achievable YET ..... if you had a 250mbit down service i do not see any reason WIFI devices couldn't max this out anywhere in your home.

Latest Updates, , I am finding speed very good., Wifi reaches 50% at long range which is also good but it does depend on how new your device is.
example Ipad air 5 speeds on wifi reach 500MBps in my garden,
Amazon Fire 10 tablet 1st gen wifi reached 20mbit in the same room., the reason for this is the choice amazon made to only include a 1st gen network device in the tablet.

Having purchases the slightly larger version of this product, I can say it works flawlessly,
wifi is good with line of sight and will even give moderately good speeds at the bottom of my garden, I tested with a 900Megabit download speed at router ,dropping to 400 in the garden (still fast enough for any mobile device, ) and 100 megabits, at the end of the street,

it penetrates 4 walls reasonably well including one chimney breast internal walls , a fish tank, and part of the brick shed, etc. the EE default router cannot say the same.

Priced at between £101 to £275 I spread it with amazon at £59 per month for 5 months, making the upgrade affordable.
all i needed from the service provider was the Login username(not he admin one ) and the password

(Username looks like =PRODUCTION****** example)

Dear Everyone,
The Maypole fibre optic project is now live , as posted in the Wellow Warbler group , if anyone has technical support issues that i may solve for you feel free to drop me a line.

I know some people are struggling , (even the ISPs) to get the correct level of performance from products, teething problems are to be expected.

If you are confused with a service provider , please feel free to contact me and i can call them explain what you are looking for and get them to call you back.

problems with internal networking especially Powerline plugs , have been reported and solutions are available.

stronger WIFI routers , Cabled access points , and switches,

i can make cables for people of lengths up to 30 meters , for full gigabit speeds.

Update September 2021 Stage One almost complete
I heard from Open reach today,
delivery phase has started this involves
1. Surveys. Gathering Information
2. Planing cable routes poles etc.
3. The phycical cable laying and connecting
4. Commissioning and testing
5. Delivery to service providers for switchover.

My personal expectation is about 6-8 months for delivery

A big thank you to everyone involved in getting our network of the future implemented

Just a quick Update, Openreach are conducting surveys for cables as we speak. When surveys are complete. Installations should take place over the next 8. Months estimates

Sorry openreach are not as quick but at least they are working on it now.

Update , Work is progressing at open reach , apologies for lack of information but it seems COVID related issues lead to Openreach appointing a new rural manager on their end., At last communications Planning is underway and any issues are being worked on.
