My Story

I’ve always loved drawing since the day I first picked up a crayon and started scribbling merrily away. It was just something I naturally adored, found easy to do and, as a big bonus, delighted everyone around me. So it’s probably not a big surprise that it’s all I’ve ever dreamed of doing. You see, visual art and graphic design is part of who I am. And the bit I love doing most is creating fun, playful designs that brighten up the world and make people happy. So it’s no wonder that I ended up specialising in the delightful baby/kidswear market. To me, children are all about being creative, bold and colourful. They live in the moment and are excited about their future adventures and fanciful dreams. They are on a voyage of discovery. And it’s this vitality and imagination I reflect in my own unique style that will help effectively communicate the essence of your brand to its audience. When you work with me you will discover that not only do I have a wealth of experience and creativity but make the whole process fun, enjoyable, and I like to think, ever so slightly magical! On top of that, I understand the importance of good communication and working to deadlines. It’s why brands seek me out. My journey so far has seen me advance from junior designer to senior management level, to setting up my own successful freelance brand. Plus I’m a visiting tutor at Birmingham City University on the BA Hons Fashion course, and just illustrated my first children's book. I’ve sprinkled my magical fairy dust for some amazing brands who include; George (Asda), Next, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Debenhams, Morrisons, Mattel, HiT (Thomas the Tank Engine), Disney, Fisher Price and the BBC. I am always open to new opportunities and connecting with people interested in graphic design, fashion and other good stuff.
