How often should you post on social media?

It’s one of the questions we’re asked most, and the answer usually surprises people.

The truth is, posting every day isn’t the goal.

Posting consistently with content your audience genuinely values is.

Instead of asking, ‘How often should I post?’, try asking:

• How can I create a sustainable content schedule?
• What does this content offer the audience?
• How can I batch create to maximise content creation moments?

Social media platforms reward engagement just as much as activity. Three thoughtful, purposeful posts will almost always outperform a week of content created simply to tick a box.

Instagram has always been free and that’s been part of its appeal.

It is a level playing field where a local florist could, in theory, reach as many people as a national chain if the content was good enough.

So when Meta rolled out Instagram Plus at $3.99/month (roughly £3.20), it’s worth asking: is this an upgrade for small businesses, or are we just paying for features that should have been free all along?

With the family’s permission, we share that today we celebrated the life of wonderful Julie from

Julie brought joy to everyone she met. Her laugh and smile was infectious and I’m going to miss her on content shoots and during my visits to the shop.

She was also my parents’ neighbour and so I was lucky enough to see her more often.

Julie you’ll be ever so missed by so many people.

Your beautiful smile will remain in my memory and your stories will be cherished forever.
