A wonderful day at Windsor Castle yesterday for Garter Day.
I’ve always loved the pomp and ceremony—and, of course, any excuse to dress up!
My dress was love at first sight. I spotted it on the Hobbs website a few months ago and immediately knew the colour palette and style were perfect for me. It’s one of those pieces I know I’ll wear again and again for years to come.
Thank you, Alison and Tim, for hosting us once again. As always, the food was delicious, the company delightful, and it was a privilege to be part of such a special day.

Today, on International Nurses Day, I’m thinking of all the wonderful human beings who care for people during some of the worst and lowest moments of their lives.

Being a nurse was a privilege, a joy, and at times an exhausting, all-consuming career, made so much better by the incredible people I worked alongside.

It feels as though the world has forgotten how we once stood and clapped for nurses and the rest of the NHS during COVID, as they worked tirelessly and put themselves at risk every single day.

Today, I want to take a moment to express gratitude to those still doing this job under more pressure than ever. We need our nurses, and I appreciate every one of them. ❤️

Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes, I’ve felt very spoiled. Feeling grateful for another year, for the first rose of the year, William being home, washing on the line,for my wonderful family and friends, a job I love with such lovely people, my home and garden. ❤️

Spent the day doing something I love, singing with Wimbledon Choral Society, tackling a challenging newly commissioned work alongside some Mozart. A pretty perfect way to mark it 💛
