Middle East Media engaged with us to bring to life, and create a new brand framework by developing a new visual identity which can be used consistently across the world by their fundraising and field teams, the brand update will build engagement and grow supporter commitment.

We created a stunning icon which connects the brand with it’s geographic mission field, the Middle East. The shape of the window echoes the local architecture whilst the burning candle symbolises light emanating a message of hope. The typographic treatment strengthens the ‘logotype’ and is clear and communicates maturity and heritage.

The colour palette was created using cultural tones and developed into the pattern that can be used as a background texture.
We also created printed assets to support the charity with it’s fundraising opportunities. Included within the brand guidelines and advice on photographic treatment and filming techniques to help build a consistent global brand.

Martin Smith approached us at the beginning of the process to launch a new album. We wanted to create a concept that spanned across all media, socials, print, video and live production shows.

For the album; Dancing In The Fire, we created a flag concept that spanned the various touch-points.
Martin’s album speaks to a generation, a rallying cry to push through and celebrate together post-pandemic. The creative is earthy, organic and personal. It connects and forms the backbone of the singles, album and live experience. A truly joined-up campaign that saw a No.1 single and critical acclaim.

We also produced and directed the music videos that promoted the album and singles.

We were commissioned to create a stunning campaign to reach out to Welsh communities during the food and fuel crisis of 2022.

Our response was to create organic, illustrative designs using soft edges which showed empathy and drawing alongside individuals and community groups that wanted to offer help.

Last year we were commissioned to rethink the brand identity for one of the UK’s largest churches , based in Manchester.

After 15 years of growth !Audacious needed a brand identity that reflected the diversity of the people of Manchester.
The branding solidified the exclamation mark which has been a part of the logo since its conception.
The exclamation mark was moved to the front of the logo mark and developed using a geometric shape pattern.
The symbol shows diversity, building and growth.

The geometric shape pattern was then rolled out across digital and printed assets giving flexibility whilst helping to communicate consistency.

The brand logo is shown as a logomark !A and also as a brand mark showing the full name, with the addition of ‘Church’. The secondary word allows flexibility across the brand family.

A vibrant orange was introduced into the colour palette to reflect the playful, audacious side of the Church. The orange acts as a wonderful accent colour, standing out on the streets of the cities where !Audacious build communities.

What makes a good brand?

Branding is not a logo, a colour pallet or the fonts you use. Branding is the essence of your organisation; it’s how you communicate your vision, mission, values and personality.

Some organisations have a heart of stone. They are cold and uninviting; this means they struggle to connect with their audience. And without connection, it’s impossible to have an impact, let alone grow it. 

But, at the centre of every organisation is people. People founded and run them. People are their customers, donors, attendees, or users. And because people are at the heart of every organisation, a soul can be found. And it is the soul that connects people.

True branding is not a slimy sales tactic. True branding is communicating the essence of your business, organisation or charity, giving your audience a holistic experience so they connect with what’s at the heart of your organisation - its vision, mission and values, and ultimately its personality.
