Sad news reaching us suggests that another death has occurred at the same house where a carpenter previously met his untimely death under similar circumstances.

The house is believed to have been constructed beneath a high-tension power line, which may have exposed the building to electrical current, resulting in these tragic incidents.

This time, a mason is reported to have lost his life after a carpenter had earlier died in the same manner at the same building.

This unfortunate incident has left many people questioning what the relevant authorities are doing about the situation and demanding swift action to prevent further tragedies.

Residents are calling for an immediate investigation and appropriate measures to ensure that no more lives are lost under such circumstances.

This video contains scenes of a physical altercation between a teacher and a student, which is completely unacceptable.

This particular incident reportedly occurred in Ghana, in what appears to be an accommodation or residential setting. It is unclear what may have triggered the confrontation or led to the situation escalating in such a manner.

What must be emphasized is that it is absolutely wrong for a teacher to engage in a physical fight of this magnitude, especially when the student involved is a female.

A teacher has every right to enforce disciplinary measures and apply appropriate sanctions where necessary. If a student refuses to comply or repeatedly displays misconduct, the teacher can report the matter to higher authorities and recommend appropriate action based on the circumstances.

However, teachers are human beings too. Depending on the level of provocation or frustration caused by a student, emotions can sometimes lead to reactions that are difficult to control.

At the same time, students should be properly guided and trained from home. Parents also have a responsibility to instill discipline and good conduct in their children. If this is neglected, such levels of disrespect and insolence may be displayed by some students.

While we call on the appropriate authorities to investigate this matter thoroughly, I believe the student should also be reprimanded where necessary. The parents should likewise be made aware of their child's conduct so they can take responsibility and provide the needed guidance.

We have intercepted a video circulating online, and it is deeply disappointing to witness such an incident unfolding in plain sight.

In a country where many citizens already harbor concerns about corruption within law enforcement and fear the possibility of being unfairly targeted or extorted, scenes such as these only serve to further erode public confidence in the institutions responsible for upholding the law.

The video appears to show personnel of the Ghana Police Service engaged in what seems to be a negotiation over money, with demands being made for a token from a gentleman who had been stopped by officers.

According to reports accompanying the footage, the gentleman in question allegedly had irregularities relating to his driver's licence and other required driving permits. However, what should have been a routine stop-and-search operation and a lawful enforcement of traffic regulations appears to have degenerated into a discussion centered on the payment of money rather than the proper application of the law.

If the allegations surrounding the video are accurate, such conduct raises serious concerns about professionalism, accountability, and integrity within law enforcement. Traffic and licensing infractions carry established legal procedures and penalties, and any attempt to settle such matters through unofficial payments undermines the rule of law and public trust.

The Ghana Police Service is expected to uphold the highest standards of discipline and transparency. Incidents of this nature, whether isolated or widespread, deserve thorough investigation to establish the facts and ensure that any officers found to have acted improperly are held accountable in accordance with the law.

The public deserves a policing system that is fair, transparent, and committed to justice rather than one that fuels perceptions of corruption and abuse of authority. As this video continues to attract public attention, many will be looking to the relevant authorities for a prompt response and a clear demonstration of accountability.

At this point in time, it is quite clear that President Cyril Ramaphosa, the serving President and Commander in Chief of the Republic of South Africa, is giving his backing to the ongoing xenophobic attacks against fellow Africans in South Africa.

Speaking on the issue of why South Africans are attacking fellow Africans who have travelled from various countries to work and live in South Africa, he reportedly stated that he understands what is going on.

This clearly explains only one thing, he has failed in his mandate as President of the country. If the reason is pressure on infrastructure, then it appears that his people have taken matters into their own hands.

As a Ghanaian who has travelled to 8 different countries, I have experienced much discrimination in almost all of them and I find what is happening in South Africa to be among the meanest forms of treatment I have witnessed.

One would think that seeing a fellow African on African soil would bring comfort, encouragement, and hope for a better future. Instead, we are witnessing hostility and gruesomely maltreating fellow Africans for no reason.

Looking back, Ghana has welcomed many foreigners from all walks of life. Many have gone as far as buying land, building homes, and creating jobs for themselves and others. This makes me ask the question, why is South Africa different?

If I am not mistaken, I can say that of every 10% of land ownership in Accra, about 3% is owned by foreigners, both Africans and non-Africans. In a normal sense, this should not be a problem because Ghana is one of the leading countries in West Africa whose citizens frequently travel abroad to live and work in other countries.

My point is this, if people are living freely in my country, but when I travel elsewhere I am harassed, brutalized, and treated in an inhumane manner, why should I want to travel abroad at all? And why should we continue to warmly accommodate others in our own country if such treatment is what awaits us elsewhere?

President Cyril Ramaphosa has failed, and he should be ashamed of himself and the people he leads as should those who engage in and support such actions in South Africa.

So scary seeing a large visible land marks covered as if this place is a water collection area.

This is the current situation from Nsawam-Akramaman Junction to Doblo to Amasaman and how the rain has covered most part of inhabitants homes and place of residence.
