To ensure a smooth process, about 14 offices of the Ghana Revenue Authority across the country have been selected to register individuals who do not possess a Ghana card.

This exercise is expected to take place within Nine(9) months, that is, from April 1,2021 to December 31,2021 where the Ghana card Identification Number will be used as the unique number for tax identification purposes.

The attached is the joint press statement issued by Ghana Revenue Authority, National Identification Authority and the Registrar General's Department.
