On our maiden show on Politics, we intend to discuss extensively the Government of Ghana's push for an IMF bailout which has necessitated a Domestic Debt Exchange Program (DDEP), a move that has generated a lot of reaction from a large section of the Ghanaian populace with the immediate past Chief Justice HL Sophia Akuffo partaking in a demonstration or picketing at the finance ministry.

we would also seek to discuss the effect and impact of these deals on the Ghanaian economy at large, on the financial institutions and on the business community.

we would equally want to draw parallels and discuss what other countries in a similar financial situation as that of Ghana are doing in terms of initiative being implemented to make sure that better policies are implemented mitigate the impact of these initiatives and also to avoid the recurrence of such dire financial positions...
