OBITUARY
The family of the late Alhagie Marget Secka of Banjul and Touba, husband of the deceased, the Alhagie Ablai Ceesay, father of the deceased, the late Aji Mariama Ceesay known as Meloko, mother of the deceased regret to announce the untimely death of Aji Anna Ceesay Secka of 32 Long street Banjul.
This sad news is extended to the entire Mouride community in The Gambia and Touba. The families of 11 Hagan street Banjul - the late Alhagie Basiru Jagne - the late Aji Mamfatim Faal - the late Aji Sukai Joof - the late Alhagie Dodou Ceesay - the late Alhagie Lie Ceesay.
The family of the late Aji Yandeh Nyan, Buckle street. The sad news is also extended to Anty Maria Joe Njie, mother of the deceased. To the family of Aji Maria Deydah Hydara of Sanchaba Sulay Jobe - sister of the deceased regret. The family of the late Alhagie Mansour Loum, the family of the late Moses Senghore, the family of Aunty Marie Sarge. Aji Ndatah Faal Secka of Long street , co-wife of the deceased. Amina Cole Secka of Long street Banjul, co-wife of the deceased.
Extended to families of Alhagie Ousainou Sarr Banjul - Alhagie Ebou Njie of Serrekunda - the late Alhagie Abdou Ceesay of Banjul - Alhagie Mbye Jagne of Allen street - Mr Colley Faye and Family of Kanifing Estate...the family of Aji Sohna Nyang of Latrikunda Sabiji. Funeral prayers will be at Independence Drive Mosque at 1:00 pm on Monday 28th July 2025. Burial will be at Jeshwang Cemetery at 2:00pm.
The deceased is survived by several children of Long Street Banjul.
