Forest Park (Monkey park)a firm favorite with all visitors, this small rain forest reserve is host to over 133 spices of birds, including the red Necked falcon, gray hornbill, prinia and member of the bee eating family. There are four primate that inhabit the forest, patas, green vervet, red Colombus and bush babies.

Kachikallly crocodile pool is located in the heat of Bakau. The exact number is not known but is estimated that there are about hundreds of crocodile. Perhaps the most famous crocodile is called Charlie,who like all other crocodile was allowed to roam freely, and can be approached and can be touched by visitors. Bakau also has a botanical gardens, craft market and much more.

trip to Lamin lodge is bumpy but fun, and when you here you can see the mangroves grow and many monkey wondering around. Beside the monkeys and mangroves you can see how cement is made from shells or just enjoy the wonderful view during nice meal. The Lamin lodge is a building which is built on poles and standing in the water of the river Gambia in middle of mangrove forest.
