Building Bridges through Language! ✨

We just completed our Greek language program for 53 brave students from Ukraine!
Over the last five months, these children completed 176 hours of lessons designed to help them thrive in their new environment.

By exceeding our goals and seeing the kids’ enthusiasm to keep learning, we know this initiative made a real difference in their educational journey.

A huge thank you to the Ukrainian Hub of Greece for their invaluable support and to our amazing educator who made communication seamless. 📚💪

Join us on 21 April for an inspiring lecture with PhD researcher Alexander Bruggisser from Roskilde University, who will share research on volunteer mentorships and their role in creating social support, motivation, hope, and new opportunities in life.

The lecture explores the ethical and existential dilemmas volunteers often face, while highlighting why mentorship can make such a meaningful difference for vulnerable young people and adults navigating a strained welfare system.

🌍✨ ISRICM-EU Partners Prepare for Impactful Webinars! ✨🌍

Today, 01/04/2026 at 10:00, the partners of the ISRICM-EU – Innovative Solutions for Refugee Integration and Crisis Mitigation in EU Member States (ESF-SI-2024-UA-01-0006) project came together for a dynamic coordination meeting focused on the organisation of upcoming webinars.

🔹 Key highlights of the meeting:
• Exchange of ideas on webinar structure, content, and target audiences
• Alignment on roles and responsibilities for implementation
• Discussion on how to effectively present project results to wider audiences
• Strong focus on dissemination and public engagement

💡 The meeting was marked by a highly collaborative spirit, with partners actively sharing ideas and best practices to ensure that the webinars will be both impactful and accessible.

🌍✨ ISRICM-EU Coordination Meeting — Strengthening Collaboration & Responsibility! ✨🌍

Today, 30/03/2026 at 12:00 noon, the partners of the ISRICM-EU – Innovative Solutions for Refugee Integration and Crisis Mitigation in EU Member States (ESF-SI-2024-UA-01-0006) project came together once again for a coordination meeting, reinforcing our shared commitment to quality implementation and strong partnership.

🔹 Key topics discussed:
• Connection to and navigation within the ESSINIS platform
• Proper and structured submission of deliverables
• Coordination of WP3 deliverables led by each responsible partner
• Contributions to WP1 and WP2 deliverables across the consortium
• Clarification of roles, responsibilities, and support mechanisms among partners

🤝 The meeting highlighted an important principle: while coordination roles exist, the success of the project is a shared responsibility. All partners are expected to actively contribute to the preparation, quality, and timely submission of deliverables, ensuring a coherent and high-standard final outcome.

💡 Partners also explored how to better support one another, encouraging proactive collaboration and mutual assistance wherever needed — a key element for achieving real impact.

🚀 The discussion took place in a constructive and cooperative spirit, with strong engagement from all participants and a clear focus on moving forward efficiently, responsibly, and together.

📢 Проведен семинар за превенция на трафика на хора в Русе

На 25 март 2026 г. в Хотел „Рига“ Сдружение „Божурите“ проведе обучителен семинар, посветен на превенцията на трафика на хора.

Събитието се реализира в рамките на проект ISRICM-EU: Innovative Approaches to Mitigate the Societal Consequences of Russia’s War of Aggression Against Ukraine within EU countries (ESF-SI-2024-UA-01-0006, D003.018) и бе насочено към украински граждани, уязвими групи и мигранти.

👩‍⚖️ Адв. Миглена Ангелова представи основните форми на трафик, рисковете и правните инструменти за превенция, както и реални казуси от практиката.
🧠 Психологът Йордан Пенев акцентира върху психологическите механизми на въвличане, разпознаването на рискови ситуации и подкрепата на жертви.

💬 Участниците обсъдиха реални ситуации, индикатори за риск и добри практики за превенция и реакция.

Семинарът допринесе за повишаване на информираността и изграждане на практически умения за справяне с риска от трафик на хора.

📢 Human Trafficking Prevention Seminar Held in Ruse

On March 25, 2026, a training seminar on human trafficking prevention was held at Hotel Riga, organized by Association “Bozhurite”.

The event was implemented under the project ISRICM-EU: Innovative Approaches to Mitigate the Societal Consequences of Russia’s War of Aggression Against Ukraine within EU countries (ESF-SI-2024-UA-01-0006, D003.018) and targeted Ukrainian citizens, vulnerable groups, and migrants. It was institutionally supported by the Regional Administration of Ruse and the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Ruse.

👩‍⚖️ Lawyer Miglena Angelova presented key forms of trafficking, risks, and legal prevention tools, along with real case studies.
🧠 Psychologist Yordan Penev focused on psychological mechanisms, risk recognition, and victim support.

💬 Participants engaged in discussions on real-life situations, indicators, and best practices for prevention.

The seminar contributed to raising awareness and strengthening practical skills for preventing human trafficking.

🌍✨ ISRICM-EU Transnational Meeting — Day 1 in Granada Successfully Completed! ✨🇪🇸

On 16 March 2026, partners of the ISRICM-EU – Innovative Solutions for Refugee Integration and Crisis Mitigation in EU Member States (ESF-SI-2024-UA-01-0006) project met in Granada, Spain, for the first day of the Transnational Meeting.

🔹 Key highlights of Day 1:
• Welcome and opening session with all consortium partners
• WP1 updates on overall project progress, coordination, and management
• Administrative and financial developments
• WP2 dissemination and communication progress
• WP3 implementation updates, including:
— Refugee integration and social inclusion
— Capacity building and vocational training
— Cultural integration and awareness actions

💻 InnoPolis participated online, actively contributing to discussions, sharing insights, and providing constructive feedback on the topics presented, reaffirming its strong commitment to the project’s success and impact.

🤝 The meeting took place in an excellent spirit of cooperation, professionalism, and shared vision among partners working together for meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

🚀 Day 2 is underway today, with the team highly enthusiastic to continue discussions on sustainability, digital innovation, policy support, and future collaboration pathways.
